It's been a long time since I haven't posted anymore, busyness and lack of ideas hinders everything. But today while enjoying my morning coffee I try to go back to seeing posts on steemit. And I'm intrigued by @klen.civil's post hosting a Street Food contest #2 : Traditional Food Review.

Pulot and Bulukat this morning

This morning I enjoyed coffee with two traditional foods which in my opinion have become rare in every coffee shop in the morning, namely Pulot and Bulukat or sticky rice. For those of you who live in the Lhokseumawe area, you can stop by this coffee shop. Pulot and Bulukat apart from being a snack cake, they are also one of the ingredients that are always present at every traditional ceremony, for example Peusijuek

Pulot and Bulukat are made from steamed glutinous rice. For Pulot, it is wrapped in banana leaves and then grilled with charcoal, while for Bulukat, it must be steamed until it is cooked. Bulukat itself can be eaten in various ways, for example with Durian it is called Bulukat Durian, in our place Bulukat is often eaten with Tuhe sauce or what I ate today with Jam
