This time I will review about the parks in my city. We named it as Langsa mangrove forest park. This article is at the same time to take part in the Contest with the theme Review your City Park created by @klen.civil which happens to be the last day
Langsa Hotan Mangrove Park is located in the village of Gampong Kuala Langa, East Langsa District, Langsa City, Aceh Province. Langsa city is known as the City of Commerce, Education and City of Tourism. The population in 2021 will reach 185,622 people. Langa city is 400 km from the provincial capital of Banda Aceh.
The first Mangrove Forest area was built in 2013. The initiator is Usman Abdullah or Toke Seuum, the current Mayor of Langsa. At that time, Toke Seuum had not yet served as Mayor, only a year later being elected. The initial goal was to eradicate the illegal theft of mangroves
The area of mangrove forests reaches 8,000 hectares and is the largest mangrove forest in Southeast Asia. Inside there are 35-38 types of mangroves. With details there are five true mangroves consisting of Bruguiera gymnorrhiza, Rhizophora apiculate, Avicennia lanata Xylocarpus granatum and Xylocarpus granatum. Then there are 32 Associated Mangroves.
In 2022, the Mangrove forest area has a new icon known as the Langsa Mangrove Forest Park Tower. This tower was immediately inaugurated by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Santiaga Uno last April. Tower Mangrove Forest Park Langsa is a 45 meter high tower with eight levels. From the top of this tower, visitors can see the vast expanse of exotic Mangrove forest and also the famous Langsa Bay
In this Mangrove forest there are already facilities that can be used as well as some beautiful photo spots. The Langsa Mangrove Forest is now managed by CV Ayudhia Management under the supervision of PT Pelabuhan Kota Langsa (PEKOLA). With a profit sharing system of 60-40.
In addition, in this unspoiled forest area, you will see several monkeys playing on the bridge that visitors cross. But don't be afraid they won't scratch because there are guards watching the monkey's movements. What is prohibited when entering the Mangrove Forest area is to bring food because it can make monkeys fight
Public facilities are fairly complete. When entering the Langsa Mangrove Forest Park Tower, there is a Musalla for prayer and rest as well as public toilets. The photo spot that is busy being used is on the beautiful bridge, the five-meter-high Tower, which can accommodate up to five visitors at a time and it's free
This Mangrove Forest opens at 09.00 WIB - 18.00 WIB. The entrance ticket is IDR 5000 or only 1.5 Steem. Open from Monday to Sunday. Most visitors on weekends. When entering the entrance, visitors are expected to wear a mask. Have you visited there?
