RE: Fishing camp trip
No, they are not free, fishermen sell for a low price, then the buyers buy it from them, when the fish gets to the counter in shops or at the market, the price is much higher, so if possible, it is better to go to the fishermen. However, there are only those fish that are found in this river: pike, bream, walleye, catfish and various small things.
And the heads are first kept in very salty water for a long time, then washed and dried, when it dries, they are varnished.
It's the same here if it comes to the prices fishermen and farmers receive, it's even worse. If manhy arrive at the same time with the same fish/product the price drops, next they throw it away, keep a bit and sell if for a very high price!
Intresting how the heads are dried. Thank you for explaining (it's worth the try).
A great Sunday!
