"Travel Contest - Have You Been Here (Hilsa city Chandpur)”

Today I will write about a beautiful travel place of our country. I went ten years ago. Again, I visited the place yesterday. The name of the city is Chandpur. But the other name of the city is the city of Hilsa. Because the city is surrounded by rivers Padma and Meghna. Hilsa, the national fish of our country, is found in the rivers. There are big launches to get to the city. People of our country visit the city for the launch tour. I also go around the city by launch. I first reached the launch terminal of our country's capital, Dhaka, at 6.00 am. Then I boarded the launch called Sonartari at 7.20 am.
While going to the launch, the beautiful view of the vast river is visible. After going to the middle of the river and standing on the roof of the launch, looking around, the beautiful view of the world came into view. Instead of sitting on the seat of the launch, I stood on the roof of the launch and watched the beautiful scenery.
After three hours, I reached Chandpur town. After getting down from the launch, four of us hired an auto-rickshaw to a sightseeing spot by the river. There is a Hilsa fish foundation stone at the entrance to the tour spot. Then the gate reads Welcome to the City of Hilsa. A lot of visitors come to the banks of the river every day.
A lot of hilsa fish is available in the travel area. After eating hilsa fish, visitors buy fish to take away. Then, the visitors hire small boats to travel between the rivers. Then, the stones are nicely placed on the river bank so that the visitor can come and sit. Everyone can stand and watch the beautiful scenery of big launches.
There are different types of toys for children. I bought a flower garland for my daughter. There are parks for children to enjoy. Local food, as well as different species of river fish, are available in small shops.
There is no ticket or fee to enter the place. However, people have to pay the launch fee to attend the launch. If many people are traveling together, then the launch comes with an entire reserve. We have hired AC Kevin from Dhaka. AC Kevin costs around 350 taka or 10.84 Steem. Then, the food is consumed according to everyone's choice. Big hilsa fish are a bit more expensive.
The place is very attractive for people who like sea or river travel. I was very happy to see the beautiful view of the river. Then, if many people want to travel by launch, they can come here and travel. The most interesting is the hilsa fish here. The tastiest and biggest hilsa fish of our country can be found in this river. So you have to come to this travel place even for the taste of Hilsa fish. Then there is a very beautiful view as the river surrounds the travel spot. There are picnic spots in the meadows between the rivers. Various schools and colleges of the country come to picnic on the banks of the river.

Travel is always fun especially when it's for business and pleasure. I wish the city of Hilsa was close to Uyo where I live, would have definitely loved to try the national fish using our style of fish barbeque. @mahadisalim I will share our recipe for fish BBQ so u give it a try and share the experience in one of my future posts 😂.
