Defining Moment In My Life And How It Affected Me.

Greetings dear steemians. Hope this post meet you well. >In life we go through alot, some positive, some negative, some we scale through unscratched, others we may need someone to pull us back up. Life doesn't come with a manual handbook so we learn from experiences and stories.

To attain growth, moments are involved.
I'll be sharing my educational moments.
During my SSS 3, most of my classmates were so eager to get to the higher institution and they registered for JAMB including my best friend. She tried convincing me to register too since we wanted to study the same course but I declined. I told her I wanted to break that year and pursue it the next year. My decision was because my immediate elder sister wrote JAMB last year but wasn't admitted and I felt I may share the same fate and I wanted her to go first. She tried again and fortunately, she got admitted.
I used that year to improve on my sewing skill and made client and money. The next year, I applied for Architecture, wrote JAMB and I got 218. I wished I had a higher score, I wished I studied harder. I started making enquiries while some told me it's good to go, others believe it's not enough. I was advised to change course only if the knew that my WAEC subject combination was centred on building profession which mean I can't change to any department asides departments in Environmental studies or civil engineering but my dream was architecture.
I kept hope alive afterall cutoff point was 200. I prayed and hoped to be admitted if not I apply again. Fortunately I was offered admission.

My prayers worked for me and I felt like my heavenly father knew that it's Archi or nothing. After that I knew I had to work on my confidence and social lifestyle so I don't have a hard time in school. I had to learn to handle all my actives, sewing, schooling and others. I also had to determine not to allow negative vices influence me but to keep me eyes on the price and accept positive changes. I set standards for myself and I can say those standards are not compromised. When I started school, it was hard getting along with my colleagues but that my best friend, she got admission was now my senior colleague so she assisted.

She'll be signing out this month together with my elder sister who studied Sociology. I'm thinking of what to gift them...
In my 3 years in uni, the dynamics of change had gotten to me, I've become more outgoing, friendly though still reserved, I've made friends I've met proud people and the know-it-all. I've spent countless nights in the studio drawing

and some preparing for structures examination (I can't seem to understand that course). But in all, I've gotten beautiful moments and experience. And I hope to explore more with the one year I have left for my BSc. program.
Indeed what we put our minds to achieve can be a success all we need is believe in ourselves, trust in God, avoid discouragement, stay focused and seize good opportunities.
