Maayong adlaw sa tanan!

Its almost a month already since we were hit by the typhoon odette, internationally named as typhoon rai. And until now, our electricity was not yet restored. As in total black out in our area since even the lamp post don't have light. Aside from that, our water was also not fixed good thing we already had data connection yet it was not yet stable. But at least we could still update the social media.

Today let me share to you how we distributed the help given by the generous people @el-nailul, @iranwandedy, @klen.civil, @miftahuddin, @sofian88, @heriadi, @mariana4ve, @worldsmile and @hive-198626 who initiated the Worldsmile Project thru sir @bien who received an sbd from the community so we could use in purchasing the goods. Their help is such a good deed.

Since sir @bien has given the opportunity to be our leader, so he is the one do the planning. He assigned those who were not busy some task to do. He asked me to do the printing of tickets but unfortunately I wasn't able to do it since our electricity was not yet restored and I can't use our printer. So he just asked ate @jonabeth if I am right to do it. While ate jona do the printing, sir @bien together with his family do the repacking of 6 noodles.

When everything was set, we then distributed the ticket. And since the ticket was just limited we just chose those individuals who really had lost their houses due to the typhoon odette and were jobless. Everything went well but some individuals were saddened because they haven't received tickets but we promised them if there will be other chance to do this charity again we will prioritize them. Upon handling the ticket to them, we told them to go to sir @bien's house at exactly 4 pm.

While waiting for the time we took some groufie with the volunteers/steemians. Together with me was my hubby @jmaxswivel, sir @bien of course and his bro-in-law, ate @jonabeth and his hubby, and @natz04.

At exactly 4 pm we then distributed the foodpacks. And there were 95 families received it. And upon seeing them made me appreciate how God really blessed me. Yes I was affected by the typhoon yet I am still fine and trying to recover but this people really had hard time to recover because they don't have enough money to start over. And I know this food packs we gave to them will lessen their burden and will not overthink anymore where to buy rice for their meal in 2 days or 3.

I am really grateful of having this community and be part of it. Seeing them happy made me feel happy as well despite of all the experiences we had experienced after the typhoon.
