Write About Your Favorite Board Games / Activity - Fun

The game Activity is super fun and deserving of the number one spot on my favorite board game list. It allows you to showcase your skills by explaining well verbally, almost like presenting, explaining through gestures, or drawing on a piece of paper. It also enriches your vocabulary and stimulates the imagination while playing. The main idea is that there are words written on cards, and the word that falls must be explained and guessed. There is a game board in the form of a board with a start and finish.

The objective of the game is to reach the final point as swiftly as possible. At the start, players are divided into teams consisting of several individuals, with one person designated to explain a word while the others attempt to guess. Roles can be exchanged on each turn between the speaker and the guessers. Each team chooses a color - green, blue, yellow, or red. This color determines its game pawn, which moves along the game board. After the pawns are chosen, they are placed at the starting point of the game.

Also, cards with different point values are distributed on the game board: 3 points on one tile; 4 points on another tile; 5 points on a third tile. And a sand timer that measures 3 minutes. In the Bulgarian version, the card with more points is not always more difficult. It often happens, when playing with friends, to choose 3 as the difficulty and find that the sentence is almost impossible to explain within the sand timer time.

Every time we explain a word through drawing or mimicking, we literally roll on the floor laughing. Trying to explain the word quickly with these two tactics is so absurd and often remains misunderstood because everyone has different abilities and perspectives, and if someone was supposed to draw a frog with a fishing rod, the others might see it as a cat with a fishing rod, for example. Hahaha.

It's a highly engaging game where time flies by effortlessly. I highly recommend giving it a try if you haven't played it before.
