The diary game 17 July 2024 || A Crazy Evening with Fireworks in Montreal

Hello steemians,
Starting at 8 PM, the Loto-Québec stage lit up with a performance by Véranda, a local band that ignited the audience with their catchy music and warm melodies. The atmosphere was electric, filled with laughter, applause, and palpable energy. Families gathered early, bringing folding chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets to enjoy the outdoor evening.

My friend, whom I hadn't seen since she moved to Montreal 10 years ago, was there with her family. It was an emotional reunion. We spent the first part of the evening catching up, sharing anecdotes from our university years and stories about our current lives. Her children and mine quickly became friends, running and playing on the grass, creating happy memories.

The view of the St. Lawrence River added a magical touch to the event. The sky gradually tinted with twilight colors, setting the stage for the night's main attraction: the fireworks.

Precisely at 10 PM, the rockets were launched. The luminous explosions quickly captured everyone's attention. The fireworks were a true masterpiece, a choreography of light and color in the night sky. Each burst of fireworks was accompanied by "ooohs" and "aaahs" of wonder from the crowd. The children, wide-eyed, pointed at the ephemeral shapes bursting above us.

The fireworks lasted a good half-hour, each minute bringing its share of surprises and wonders. The highlight of the show was a series of luminous bouquets that lit up the sky in all the colors of the rainbow, leaving the spectators in awe. The Jacques-Cartier Bridge, illuminated in the background, provided a spectacular backdrop, adding to the grandeur of the moment.

After the show the party continued. People shared desserts, drank refreshing beverages, and kept enjoying the music. My friend and I took numerous photos to immortalize this special evening. It was a perfect night, full of reunions, joy, and beauty.

This July 14, 2024, will remain etched in our memories as a night of reunions and joy, punctuated by the splendor of the fireworks and the vibrant energy of the Loto-Québec stage. It was more than just an event; it was a celebration of friendship, family, and the magic of summer in Montreal.
