Contest - What is the way to Write a Quality Post?

I sustain my greetings to my fellow steemians in steem for better community. I believe you're all doing good and your day was full of fun activities and happiness, a contest was organized by @shiftitamanna titled What is the way to Write a Quality Post? and I'm excited to share my idea.

A good and quality post is what we all love reading and we got excited when learning new things and sometimes we got to practice, a quality post is said to provide some valuable information that attract audience, writing a quality post required what it call author time, the time to think and put creativity in action.

In the steemit platform, a post must be quality to receive the support from the curators and others relevant supporters, there are some techniques that makes our post to be considered as a quality Post, I'm bringing to y'all some of the techniques of writing a quality post.

Double checking or editing.

A quality post shouldn't contain a typo, I have to double checked to identify a typo or typing error, most of the time i recheck on my content before i publish I'd seen some typo which could downgrade my post then i edit to bring out the right word, double checking or editing make our post accurate and typo free.

The basics markdown style.

A markdown style alone can tick right our post, applying markdown in the appropriate place makes post unique and quality, in the steemit platform markdown are the basics coding styles which are applied to differentiate or highlight words from heading and it the important skill which brings out the quality of a post.

Paragraphing.

The need for paragraphing is simple, making our sentence in a particular paragraph short draws readers attention and foster easy understanding and it makes our post arrangeable, the appropriate paragraphing is from 1 - 10 lines.

Originality.

One of the rules in writing a post in the steemit platform is originality, a quality post should contain truthful facts, everyone has got this interest in reading original and truthful content. Originality is a way of maintaining credibility and it is crucial when writing a quality post, originality post should contains more than 300+ words before it is consider a quality post.

To me, creativity is a way of bringing or implementing something new. Creativity is converting the things i hear and see, my imagination and what i feel into a great ideology to create something new and real. In this sense creativity is crucial factor to consider when composing a post in the steemit platform.

Creativity as the word implied makes a post's outstanding and unique, it attracts readers attention and most importantly it draws support to post, creativity can impact and turn a boring post to winning audience minds, it has the potential to brainstorm content and it has the power to make a post more engaging.

Maybe there are several factors that make a post to consider high quality but if I am to answer, I'll confidently say it is Picture, grammar and the basics markdown style that made a post to become high quality.

A high quality picture speaks and illustrate something before the write-up, it makes a sentence more understandable.

Making several mistakes in grammar will vividly downgrade a post as no one is interested in reading broken words, a quality content/post is said to be well written with the appropriate sentence and punctuation.

The markdown style has the element to paragraph the words in a post and makes a post unique like the text justified markdown or the hypertext markup language. The markdown style has the impact to specify or highlight and stands out the keywords in a post, it is the skeleton of a post.

A post that contains all these features isn't just an ordinary post, it is an incredible and quality of all high quality post.

I think these virtual things are not strange to us because we make use of them in everyday blogging, these elements are the pictures we use, the unique markdown style we applied, the whole logic in our post and the quality of content.

The screenshot shows the important of typography and how it improve readers engagement, it shows the text arrangement, the space alignment, the number of paragraphs and the bold font.

The important visual elements to improve engagement is the image we used, the quality of the picture in a post can catch readers attention and result in engagement. Also drawing a line through the use of ruler (the three star markdown style) at the end of every paragraph can increase reader engagement.

The need for typography is crucial element to improve reader engagement, typography helps to arrange text in visual elements, it also involves the text and space alignment and it encourage normal font writing, applying the above element in a post will make the post memorable and persuasive.

I've highlight some of the things to consider in mind when writing to make a post quality but it is advisable to understand that no one is perfect enough to write a perfect quality post, we learned from what we saw and we try to practice. The steemit platform is a platform for quality post, let's our post maintain quality.
