Music and I #1 : Music that tells my story.
Music is life. A world without it would be unimaginable, uninteresting and even boring. Sometimes it serves as food to the soul.
So, hi guys😚, today I'll be participating in this music contest organized by @ubongudofot at @steembetterlife and I'll be telling you about my kind of music, the artist and the musical instrument used.
I love music so much that I play it often when washing, cooking, reading or working out or just listening to it.
I'm not really particular about some type of music but when the wordings appeal to me, then it's my kind. Some of my favourite artist have been Akon, Johnny drille and Chike.
Right now I can remember lots of music like 'from this moment', roju, buga and many others. Moreso, It's my humble pleasure that I'll be sharing with you
three different musics from my personal archive alongside the artists
- First on my list is gold by owl city
Link
Owl city is a rock band master minded by Adam's young. They have made over 600 tracks in about 34hours. This song specifically appeals to me in ways I have no much idea. Especially the part that says;
'i know, your gold
I dont need the stars in the night
I found my treasure
All i need is you by my side
So shine forever'
Source
So much encouragement and contentment in that music if you ask me . Though I can't sing it perfectly from alpha to omega on my own, I can sing the major parts and choruses. The major instruments used is the guitar which allows the flow of the song without interruption.
About the artist; I'd say owl city is just cool. I once read a comment that they are one of the underrated bands and if that's true I think the music industry should have more of such bands recognized than some others with poor lyrical ideas.
Next on my list...
- Grow up by Johnny drille and blessing tangban.
Link
Johnny drille whose real name is John ighodaro and blessing tangban are the master creators of this wonderful piece with the company of guitars.
Though it's about love that didn't workout, its one great song you should listen to. I guess it highlights the struggle of a relationship and how growing up- which could probably refer to giving themselves a space could help.
These Nigerian artists were real good here, and if you ask me, Johnny drille is more famous so I think Dr. Blessing tangban who happens to be a guitarist too needs more people to know her more because her voice is really worth it. They equally make good music though.
I wouldn't want to bore you with so much, so I'll leave you with my last piece😜👇
- Run through walls by the script
Link
I really don't know why I made this last but I guess it's just fine here anyways.
Yea, this too is a rock band. An Irish rock band of four (4) members. These set of band are mind blowing. I know of a song by them too 'if you see kay' I don't need to explain why I like it though- even the title says its all.
Its a shame I can't sing 'run through walls' verbatim but I can give a fair trial.
Its actually my real kind of music with the guitar playing in the background is just dope portraying how real friends are ; They run through walls'
At this point, I think I'm in love with music made with string instruments🤔. I'm sure you wouldn't want to miss any of the listed songs above, you can check them out in the link provided and drop some feedback if you liked them.😊
Smiles, i hope you enjoyed my entry though. Music is life and there's no better life without music. So, lets bring back music on steem lets enjoy a stressfree and better life. Cheers🍻
