Egyptian civilization

With the passage of time, historical studies have explained that one of the oldest civilizations developed between 3,300 BC culminating in 332 BC and, the name given to this society was Egyptian Civilization which was located in the valley of the Nile River, specifically in North Africa.

Due to the geographical isolation and the excellent natural resources that were in the place, the Egyptian civilization became one of the most powerful civilizations that we have known with the passage of history, a particularity that has even allowed that today, it continues to contribute many discoveries and advances in history.

During its long history, ancient civilization managed to maintain a strengthened cultural tradition and thanks to this, at various times they managed to overcome political and social crises. When the periods of state boom developed, Egyptian civilization was unified thanks to the power exercised by pharaoh; it should be noted that, this figure was legitimized by the religious beliefs that the Egyptians had.

As far as the priests are concerned, they were in charge of decorating all the temples with hieroglyphic writing and at the same time, they made artistic representations. As a curious fact we have that, all these particularities were deciphered in the nineteenth century since, previously they were only known as drawings.

This civilization is one of the societies that has most amazed the human being because, the tombs with luxurious trousseau, gigantic pyramids and temples, have awakened the amazement throughout history. According to historians, it is one of the civilizations that have highlighted the most mysteries, myths and realities since its inception and today.

In another aspect it can be noted that, the economic organization that this civilization had, was controlled by the State and to execute this right, they had a system of taxation, services and at the same time, they applied the redistribution of their products. Referring to the hierarchy of society, it was organized into the privileged classes, who were the closest to the pharaoh and slaves.

The religion they had in Egypt during the Ancient Age was polytheistic and the main gods were Isis, Osiris, Seth and Horus. According to what historians explain, the Egyptian civilization is known for being the one that more local cults came to perform and at the same time, the mythological history that has been maintained with the passage of time, was born at this time and because of this, today it is said that the myth, arose thanks to the Egyptians.

Finally, in the Egyptian civilization they used to worship the dead and at the same time, they believed in the integration of elements (Soul, body and ka). Contextualizing better, the ka was known by the vital force that a person had from his identity and when he was attracted, he originated protection. When the person died, the ka was expelled by mouth and went to the court of Osiris to be tried.
