Distribution of Food Packs: Emergency Food Program by @worldsmile

Good day fellow Steemians!
It's been 25 days after typhoon Odette, yet its destruction is still evident as until now, we don't have electricity and signal is still bad. Nevertheless, we are still thankful for the many blessings we received and for the people who have the heart to help. Life is still hard but we are all trying to move on and start anew.

Last Saturday, @bien invited me for the second wave of donation from @worldsmile. They call it Emergency Food Program where each family will receive 5 kg of rice, noodles and a choco drink.
A total of 95 food packs for 95 families was prepared. I personally purchased the noodles from a nearby wholesale store where I paid a total of P5,410.00. After which, I looked for an open internet cafe to have the coupons printed.

In the afternoon, after preparing everything, we started distributing the coupons to all deserving families. They only need to present the coupon upon claiming. With me are @bien, @limcuy, @natz04 and @bien's mother-in-law.

At exactly, 4:00 in the afternoon, people were already lining to claim their food packs. @worldsmile is really true to its advocacy in bringing smiles to the needy.

All is well that ends well!
