Save the world

Good day everyone, regards to my fellow steemians colleagues and friends around the world, how are you all doing today hope you are enjoying and having a good time in this beautiful moments 2024 brings to us? As for me am amazing and good, by the way I'm john from Nigeria it's my pleasure and a great delight to have you all in this amazing contest "Save the World Contest" organized by @irawandedy here at #Steem-For-Betterlife, I decided to take part in this contest to share with you all my views and perspective on saving and maintaining the world.

Save the world as the contest theme implies means those things we should do or not do that would contributes to the healthier growth and development of our environment and community, according to the organizer which says disasters occur everywhere due to human actions that do not preserve nature, I totally agreed with the following statements because most of us human being we show alot of ignorance on our health and maintaining our environmental.

Increase awareness of the importance of preserving the environment
The following are importance of preserving our environment which are...

• it impacts good health to our body and as well contribute to the our well-being.
• it eradicate and reduces pollution around our homes and environments
• it prevents illness and diseases as well as further damages to our health
• it gives us neat environment for recreational activities and good air for proper breathing.
• it assures and ensures access to food and other necessary resources we need.
• it helps in prevention of deforestation and flood around us.

Minimize risk factors that aggravate the condition of the earth.
Since risk factors includes erosion, pollution, radiation, hazards, exposures, deforestation, noise, bad weather and climate change.
The following ways should be taken to reduce the above risk factors such as...

• planting of trees within and around our surrounding to avoid erosion.
• regular clearing of grasses around our homes to avoid insects and reptiles like snakes, mosquito, ticks and so on to maintain healthy environment.
• by proper disposal of refuse and waste for healthy and happy environment.
• provision of good roads to avoid water gathering in a pot holes that can causes further damages on the road also known as erosions.

What have you done in an effort to save the earth .
Since good health is very essential to human being so we have to get to any extent to achieve it, so there is a bushy area behind the fences of the compound where am staying though it is a rented apartment but every tenant there has shown a lot of ignorance in clearing the grasses even when we planned of doing that together they never showed up, so I decided to sacrifice my free period to do the clearing alone myself for the benefit of my self and others

How do you do it
Like I said I took part in clearing and raking the grasses in my environment alone even though it was hard for me but thank almighty that I was able to complete it and my efforts was successful, the place was looking neat and clean after the cleaning

What is the form of attention from the government and the community around you?

The government has taken good decision in making good roads in the rural area so as they will have access to many things, also the government has made provision of Dustbin around my area to enhance proper disposal of refuse and waste.
