Change your perspective then the year will move as you want.
Every travel of time leave some significant cosmic precipitation. Our consciousness being a part in the fabric of nature collect the dictations and the subtle instructions that each cosmic event impress. In the beginning of the new year, we unconsciously set our minds on new objectives and grace our attention with lofty goals of self improvement. January is the morning hour of the year. In the morning when we have just woken up from sleep, our mind is uncorrupt and true to ourselves. We wake up with holy intentions, with a peaceful and a warm demeanour. It is more difficult for us to tell lies in the early hours of the day than at any other time.
January as a significant time in cosmic arrangement have a piercing influence on our consciousness. It is the time we are more incline to forgive and start from the begining , it is a time we are more incline to repent from our bad habits, character and ways of life. Apart from the pecuniary prayers our Pastors have taught us to offer(which is not bad) . The "50Million is my portion this year" mercantile prayers that patronise our mundane proclivity for the material. January, generally calls us to the alter of self, the inward Court of the soul where unbiased judgement of ourselves is made. It is a time we are more ready to forgive ourselves and start afresh. It is a time for a pilgrimage into self. It is a time for a focus on the ethereal, a time to resolve to be more holier than before.
It seem that in the month of January, more than any other month, we more easily see ourselves as the most important causal factor for our life outcomes. We more easily accept that the locus of control for the bearing of our fortune and misfortune rest on us. We more easily accept the responsibility for our self improvement and this is seen by the many resolutions we make.
One important role our religious organisations and specifically, our Pastors have played to incline us to the reflection and attunement required to maximise the energy level of this cosmic time is their routine declaration of fasting and prayer during this January. Whether we make good use of that important avenue or deploy the opportunity to burden ourselves with familiar platitudes and banal utterances that we forget just some moment after the break that comes after the exercise is another thing.
For me January is the most serious time of the year! It is a time with its own intelligence, it is a time that bath our consciousness with every notion of responsibility, revealing us to the sacred understanding of the fact that the Kingdom of God is within us. This seem to be the the time we are mostly aware to the fact that we can become anything we want so far as we are ready to wean ourselves of impeding habits.
For me, this is not the time to write many resolutions. There is a power that this cosmic time transfers to our soul. All one need to do is to empty oneself in meditation. Let the intelligence of nature insert its own drive on your soul. It is a time to meditate, dissociate, be aloof, disentangle, surrender your efforts and allow the cosmos leave a precipitation of its advantage on you. It is a time for a revelation that will bring our dark parts to the strength of light. This is a time to gather some spiritual momentum after which we can emerge with a strong direction for the year.
We can still do it this march , just keep matching with faith.
