Hello my fellow steemians......, Good morning, hope you had a good night rest..... Well mine wasn't because of stressed throughout yesterday and it was tourmenting me last night.

MY DAIRY

Well though yesterday was stressful, it brought much benefit and that's why I want to share with you.
Some weeks ago, I went to village and meet my family processing palm fruit... and I was opportune to join them for the main time.

So after some time, they invited me to join them in processing palm fruit in order get oil.. (Red palm oil).
It's true that red palm oil comes with a great benefit in the whole world and I'm so much delighted to be among who joined in producing it and also to share my daily activity in steem food community.
So I'm here to share my experience although it was stressful.
Well we all started very early in the morning and close very late in the day because unlike other places in the country where processing of palm fruit is very easy, but in my own village,
it's very stressful as you can see in the photo gallery.....

Our own is different, unlike mechanised system that has a rotating drum or fixed drum equipped with rotary beater bars detach the fruit from the bunch, leaving the spikelets on the stem. But ours (small-scale processors) who do not have the capacity to generate steam for sterilization. We had to cooked it in water which absorb a lot of water in the cooking process.

Later we go to digestion of the fruit, then we go for pressing (Extracting the palm oil) of which we use this method

to do that and after we've got to the point of Clarification and drying of oil and and separate of palm carnel and at the end of the day though was tough we were able to accomplish the day activity, And I felt very weak because it's been long since I did such work about 8 years ago.
So I spent some time with members of my family last night and this morning,

I was set to go back with some goodies and a rubber of oil for my personal use in case you need some.

WOW, it was nice spending time with them, and guess what.... _I was invited to the village again next week for another work activity and I will also like to share it with you when I'm back.

Well I so much thank God for the effort He grant us for the work well done, and now the oil is out for use and many more.
