         Introduction

Greetings to all the members of @steem for better life and to all their friends and lovers across the world. Its a privilege to participate in this amazing contest of making life better for ourselves and the upcoming generation by planting trees in our localities. Before I move further, I do love to acknowledge the beautiful work of this community in giving out meaningful and beautiful contest to all steemians around the world, and also for contributing to the development of this platform in general.

I see it as a duty on each and every human around the world to contribute in preventing global warming, and in return, we all will enjoy are more comfortable environment.

Apart from preventing global warming, trees plays some vital roles in our life's as humans, and it also play some vital roles in preventing our environment. Below are some of the benefits of trees in our life's.

• They help in reducing soil erosion through binding the soil to their roots
• Trees prevent global warming by absorbing carbon from the atmosphere and store it in their wood and bark.
• trees serves as shelter to thousands of species, and it helps in flourishing wildlife's.
• Trees provide fruits to man, and its a source of food for birds and other animals.
• it help to absorb carbon dioxide, and it give out oxygen which is vital to our existence as humans.

Looking at the importance of trees, I have made it a habit to always plant trees in my locality. Check below to see some trees I planted, and the steps I followed in planting them.

This is a mango tree. After removing it from nursery bed, I used my hoe to dig where where I will plant it. After digging, I poured water inside the hole before putting the tree inside. After then, I covered the rood with sand.

The above are pawpaw trees. I have many of them in my compound but, I feel its always good to plant more trees around the compound.

I followed the same procedures in planting the mango tree to plant two more pawpaw tree. You can see that the procedures are simple. In general I planted three more trees in my compound.

Before I drop my writing tools, I want to encourage each and everyone to make planting of trees a habit. With that, we will be able to fight global warming.
