The output of the Indonesian Steemian Meet-Up from my Perspective As Community Curator

I appreciate the implementation of the Meet Up which was held on Friday, May 13, 2022, as a forum for Indonesian steemians to gather with Indonesian Country Representatives (@radjasalman, @heriadi and @anroja), they are role models for the growth and development of Steemit in Indonesia until now. this. then the Community Curation Team in Indonesia which consists of myself @irawandedy: Fintech Team, @harferri and @klen.civil: The7Up Team, @alee75: IAIT Team, and @anroja: Global Curator Team and @tucsond: SEVENGERS Team.

Besides that, I also thank the Meet Up Initiators (@firyfaiz and @muzack) who initiated the event so that it has a positive output on the Growth and Development of Steemit in Indonesia.

The Meet Up which was held at Ghathaf Coffee Premium was opened by Radjasalman as the Country Representative of Indonesia, he at the opening of the event appealed to all the steemian present to take advantage of this momentum as a forum for discussion between CR, the Community Curator Team and all steemian present.

The Community Curator Team also opened discussions according to their respective themes, the discussion session started after each Community Curator Team presented material related to content writing that was relevant to the theme, then the steemians were given the opportunity to ask questions related to the growth and development of steemit so that they could take advantage of curation opportunities. from SC04 to SC09.

I saw that all steemians were very enthusiastic about participating in this activity to the end, there were several questions raised by the participants:

1. What are the tips for getting curation support from the Curation Team from the Steemit Team and the Community Curation Team?
2. Does Steem Power Affect an Account's Reputation?
3. How to release the right post, for example having a Home Industry in the form of sewing?
4. How to utilize Curation Potential effectively?
5. What is the Effective SP after delegation?

Many other questions were asked by steemian, with the activeness of this discussion forum, it indicates that Indonesian steemians are very enthusiastic to continue to improve the quality of their current content so that it does not escape curation.

Responding to question 1 above, Radjasalman said that, to get curation only needed consistency and integrity to move forward, he gave the example of alee75 who continues to strive to create informative and educative content even though at that time he did not get support from the Steemit Team, he continued to strive to show his existence as a creator. creative content, and currently alee75 is one of the Indonesian steemian who needs to be emulated.

While the 2nd question is about Reputation, it is explained in great detail that a high reputation is closely related to the number of curations an account has, the higher the curation you get while being active on the platform, the higher the reputation of an account, but high SP not only obtained by accounts with high reputations, because Steem Power investments do not affect reputation, on the contrary, accounts with high reputations actually have low SP due to power down activities carried out.

In delivering the Community Team curation support, the community curation team also emphasized several things:

1. Every user takes advantage of the momentum of SC04 to SC09 support by producing content relevant to their respective Community Curation Teams.
2. Keep improving club status from time to time
3. Be creative in creating content
4. Never do plagiarism, because this is prohibited on the steemit platform
5. Understand how to use tagging

Ayijufridar was also present at the Meet Up event, who is a lecturer at the Malikussaleh University as well as a national writer, he appealed to CR, the Community Curation Team and Admin and Community Moderators to socialize and publish steemit through newspapers and radio media as has been done so far, then visit existing campuses because currently according to him there are many lecture materials that are relevant to the steemit platform, for example business and the creative economy.

Heriadi also added about the writing of Achievement for Newcomers and dormants, he emphasized the importance of Achievement as a foundation for understanding steemit, then he also added that every newcomer must follow the rules for completing the Achievement so that it gets SC03 support, for example:

1. Complete the Achievement according to the existing rules.
2. Power Up at least 50% of the claim reward to get the next curation.
3. Actively make posts in other communities according to interests while waiting for Achievement verification to be carried out by the Greeter Team.
4. Wait for the verification of the previous Achievement before completing the next Achievement.
5. Become an active user

The meeting, which took place from 14.30 WIB to 18.00 WIB, resulted in several outputs:

1. Steemian understands SC03 curation method and Achievement completion system
2. Steemian understands the Curation method SC04 to SC09
3. Steemian understanding of content is more open, they can take advantage of their potential and implement it in their posts.
4. They understand Integrity and consistency are important steps that must be taken to get support from the Steemit Team
5. They can develop themselves and are not monotonous on one theme, but many themes can be used as objects of writing.
6. Take advantage of Engagement Contests organized by Communities that are nominated for Steemitblog
7. Strive to continuously improve Steem power
8. Continue to do Steem Promos so that the quality and quantity of user growth continues to increase.
9. For the Curator Team, the output is to provide a more detailed description of the Community Curation Team's curation support through the Rule Publication of each Community Curation Team.

Hopefully the next Meet Up can continue to be run in other cities in Indonesia so that the Steemit Platform continues to grow and develop, then improve the steem investment climate in the future.
