The Diary Game, Wednesday May 31, 2023: Work and Vacation

There are many agendas that must be done today, starting from participating in Cross-Sectoral Workshops, to fulfilling invitations from extended families to enjoy the fresh air on "Mount Salak." For that today I have to start Wednesday activities by choosing essential activities first.

Before the cross-sector workshop started, I and my colleagues like @jufrimj and zainal enjoyed a cup of coffee at Syeh Kupi which is located next to the District office. Coincidentally, the workshop activities in the second quarter were held at the District Office. Cross-sector workshops are quarterly activities organized by work units attended by village heads, village cadres, community leaders and health workers at the UPTD Puskesmas Meurah Mulia.

The aim is to map the problems that occur in the village so that effective solutions can be obtained to reduce the problems that occur. The event which was originally scheduled to start at 08.30 am, finally had to be postponed considering that many participants did not attend on time.

I'am along with other colleagues, as part of today's activities, enjoyed traditional dishes in the form of Acehnese coffee and cakes. In the picture below, you can see a glass of coffee that I ordered and traditional cakes that are sold at very cheap prices. Just imagine for 1 cup of coffee you only need to pay IDR. 3000 or the equivalent of 1 Steem, then 1 portion of cake is sold at IDR. 1000 or equivalent to 0.34 Steem if the exchange rate is 1 Steem: IDR. 3000.

After all the participants and invited guests entered the activity room, I rushed to enter the hall, where it was seen that the Head of the Meurah Mulia District Head was opening the hair in event related to cross-sectoral workshops, while I as the organizing committee of activities took the last position to prepare needs during the event going on.

The event which was attended by village representatives and also representatives from the North Aceh District Health Office took place in an orderly manner resulting in several outputs such as: Support from the village to accelerate stunting management for infants and toddlers through an allocation of funds from village funds, this allocation of funds is used to support monthly program carried out by health workers through the provision of nutritious food in addition to infants and toddlers.

At 12.30 noon, the event was over and I rushed to leave the event location considering that I had other family agendas to fulfill.

When I got home, my extended family consisting of my brothers, sisters, nephews, wife and children were waiting and had prepared supplies for short-distance travel. This tour activity is a form of gratitude for my wife's graduation as a certification teacher.

Since that evening she (my wife) has prepared several pieces of chicken and several other types of food to be taken to tourist sites. Lhok Seulayang Tourism is one of the natural attractions in North Aceh Regency, precisely located in Kuta Makmur District and is my neighboring District.

In just 30 minutes we got there using 3 private vehicles. My family and I have never been to this place, and it turned out to be a place beyond expectations. Even so, we also enjoyed the atmosphere of a lhok seulayang tour by roasting chicken and eating cooked dishes, while the children enjoyed bathing in a flat river.

Only 2 hours in Seulayang Tourism, we also visited other natural attractions in Nisam Antara District, Mount Salak is one of the highland natural tourist destinations with cool air and beautiful natural scenery. What's interesting is that here is the largest coffee producing area in Aceh, such as in Bener Meriah and Central Aceh district.

We visited a place to enjoy a cup of Acehnese coffee with world quality. After that, we took a group photo with our extended family in front of the courtyard of one of the cafes here.

House Coffee is one of the stops used by visitors when enjoying a trip along the slopes of the mountain, the place is very beautiful and comfortable to visit with family. But you can visit other cafes available along the slopes of this mountain which is the main road across the middle to the land above the clouds.

We returned home at 6 in the afternoon because the weather, which was getting very cold and foggy, would hinder our journey home and we finally got home before the evening call to prayer sounded.

Fatigue during a day of activities, made me have to rest so I decided not to leave the house.
