https://steemworld.org/ is an application that was created on steem blockchain by a number one trusted witness of the blockchain by name: @steemchiller, to make it simpler for All steem users to manage their accounts appropriately. With this useful tool, a steemit user can evaluate all the information that he or she wants to know about his or her account in a sole place.
In this article, I will be focusing on account recovery tools. This segment of steemworld.org is to recover a lost account, should a steemit user lose his account, he can use the account recovery segment on steemworld.org to recover his account. How is it so? Let us have in detail a look at the account recovery segment. The segment is of tools, that is in steps, for a steemit account to be recovered, those steps must be followed, so let's see the tools( steps):
Request Account Recovery Tool
Under this option, a steemit user with a lost account can instigate an account come back for all accounts, in which his account is distinguished as a comeback account. He will foremost contact the owner of his comeback account and forward to him his new public owner key
Note: New public owner key can be generated with the key generator tool on steemworld.org. He will put in the account name, for instance; account name: mbierebe
Master password: as can be seen from the screenshots below, the generate random option is clicked first, afterward, the export public keys option.
The account to be recovered will then receive an invitation as an incoming account operation and begin the comeback procedure within twenty-four hours by substantiating the request in the incoming request segment.
Incoming Recovery Request Tool
When the proposal might have been substantiated, it would seem under this segment of account recovery. The load recovery request option must be clicked.
Note: A steemit user who wants to recover his account must wait for an hour after he might have initiated the account recovery, then he will have to change the master password of his account. Changing of master password can be done with the change password tool on steemworld.org. for instance the account -mbierebe we used before and the master password H is now changed to M, and key generated can be seen, then the change password has to be clicked on as indicated in the screenshot below:
Owner Key History Tool
This segment is for finding the public key for the recent private owner key of an account. That is if a user can't recall this key, he uses this tool in searching for it. It is pertinent to know this key because, for confirmation of an account request, the account to be reclaimed needs to provide a recent public owner key, that was effective at some point within the previous thirty days.
CONCLUSION
Account Recovery is a segment in steemworld.org that is used for the recovery of lost accounts. This segment has tools such as request account recovery, the incoming recovery request, and owner key history. There are options for generating keys and new master keys.
