Rural Transportation Reviews || Motorized Pedicab Transportation, the Pride of My Region
Two days ago the Steem For Betterlife community through the Admin Manager @irawandedy announced a very interesting piece of information for me, namely a contest about Rural Transportation Review, because it contains tremendous benefits for rural information in every part of the world, especially about the transportation that is going on in every village.
As we also know that transportation is one of the many facilities and infrastructure that supports economic, social, cultural development, population mobility and politics in a country. Because in general, transportation problems lie in the imbalance of transportation facilities, the need for infrastructure, population growth and economic development in an area.
If we want to study transportation in each region, we will get different information about the development of transportation in each area, of course, economic development is supported by transportation developments. Among the many forms of transportation available in every village in the world, motorized tricycle transportation is my choice in participating in this contest, although there are many other modes of transportation operating in my area such as pickup trucks whose function is mostly used to transport crops and other goods, dam trucks to transport sand and soil, trains, mobile rice factories and various other types whose names are different in each region.
The main reason I took the initiative to take the theme of motorized rickshaw transportation is because it has a strong foundation, including the history of the development of the area where I grew up. Long before the existence of motorized rickshaws in the area where I developed as today, the transportation used was paddle rickshaws that did not use machines, only used bicycles and human power to pedal, so the vehicle could run.
Lhokseumawe is a small town in Aceh within the unitary state of Indonesia, where many of us see today the transportation of motorized tricycles or motorized rickshaws that are used and maintained by our area, the goal is to transport people and goods.
Motorized rickshaw transportation is still maintained by the people of Lhokseumawe and its surroundings until now for several reasons, including because of economic factors, or the work is very narrow so that without other options people choose work as pedicab drivers (rickshaw pullers) to fulfill their responsibilities as a head. family, or to meet their own needs.
Another reason is that it looks quite attractive due to the size of the motorized rickshaw which is not too big and wide, making it easy to reach narrow places. Then people choose motorized tricycles at my place because they can fit 2 to 4 passengers one way, so the price they have to pay is getting cheaper.
If the problem is the price that must be paid by the passenger at one time, it depends on the route and the agreement when making the transaction. Usually one way, whether it is traveled very close or within 2 kilometers, is Rp. 10,000. if converted into digital currency with the current price of about 1.8 steem dollars. But further than 2 kilometers the passengers must enter into a transaction agreement, because the price will continue to rise in multiples of Rp. 5,000, or in multiples of 0.9 steem dollars.
Because the villages around the Lhokseumawe area are in a very close area, such as the villages of Banda Masen, Hagu Barat Laut, Ujong Blang and other villages that are in the area of Banda Sakti District. There are also various other villages that use motorized tricycles as a means of transportation located around Lhokseumawe in the Blang Mangat, Muara Dua and Muara Satu Districts.
In addition to the people of Lhokseumawe, the people of North Aceh, which are side by side with the people of Lhokseumawe, also often use motorized rickshaw transportation services in Lhokseumawe to deliver goods and people. Like the people of Syamtalira Bayu, samudera, Dewantara, Simpang Keramat. The costs that must be spent can reach Rp. 50,000, or about 8.3 steem dollars.
For now, this is all I can tell you about the use of motorized tricycles as a means of transportation in my area, hopefully this will be useful information for everyone who wants to travel to our area. Happy activity, see you in our village.
