Through this contest today I will share with you all about Khatas Raj Temple.It is located near Chakwal in Punjab district of Pakistan.It was built during the time of Hindu Shahi King, which was dedicated to Lord Shiva and it is still used by Hindus living in Pakistan and tourists from other foreign countries.
So let's start.

Why do you like the place?

I am very fond of knowing history as when visiting such places there are boards and various information to increase knowledge .When I go to such ancient places, I get a lot of information about the skill of the people of that time, the beautiful carvings on the walls and the beautiful tiles used.

How beautifully and skillfully this temple has been built.There is a beautiful garden that is full of flowers begins at the main gateway and ends at the base of the monument.

What public facilities are available there so that visitors feel comfortable

There is also the Shiva Maharaj Temple where the Hindu community visits daily and offers its puja.There is also a large pond called the Lake of Tears, which Hindus visit and bathe in.Hanuman mansion is also here. When Hanuman and Ram Chandra fought, Shiva along with Hanuman fought with Ram Chandra and then Shiv won the fight and became the king of the place.

During the British era, a villa was built here, which is now being used as a police station.There is also a marriage temple here, many Hindu people come here and perform marriage rituals there.

How much does it cost, tickets or anything to visit the place.

As i live in Sargodha, Katas Raj is located near Chakwal .From here when we go to our car, Chakwal is reached after two and a half hours journey from here and Katas Raj is also located near it.All we need to get from here to that place is the fare.

There are also many restaurants to eat and drink which are 20 minutes away from Katas Raj.You can go there by public transport or by your own car.Entry here is completely free but there are many guides who will tell you about the history of the place and guide you on routes that you can tip.

Write your recommendation so that it can attract other visitors.

A visit to a historical place is a fascinating experience. It allows us to look back to the roots of our culture.A visit to this temple will leave you and your family with lifelong memories,it connects us with past , we can learn alot about the history.
