US Fed Reserve is most important central bank in the world and is 100% privately owned. Bank of International Settlement (BIS) is global central bank of central banks (clearing house type thing) and is privately owned. The Obama administration or cabinet 28 out of 30 were picked by the head of the US largest bank. Most governments are run by ex-bankers.
