One of the major work we do is to give Immunization, vaccination deals with strengthening the immune system and preparing them against an incoming disease or infection. COVID-19 card and children's hospital card

Lactating mothers are constantly adviced to come for check up at least every six months... In Nigeria here people barely visit hospitals except they fall sick or, contact an infection or get pregnant for ladies

Ways of storing vaccines for immunization

We store vaccines using a a a double compartment freezer... Most vaccines cannot be kept in a normal room temperature, they need to be stored in a freezer till when needed and due to lack of constant electrity, most government health sectors make use of a solar Freezer

Vaccines insides the Solar Freezer used for storage

When going out for field work, we make use of a Geostyle in storing the vaccines. Inside a Geostyle, you'll see an Ice Pack which is a refrigerated water in a container, then the vaccine with a foam to absorb heat from sun when working on the road.

Ways of disposing wastes during work

When i talk of wastes, I literally mean used syringe and cotton wool... We dispose this using a carton box provided for such and we carry it along with us even when going for a field work.

I love being part of the health system because it has given me the ability to be able to help the poor and rich in my neighborhood through educating them on the need to be vaccinated everytime.
