Just thinking about my past It was out of the question for me to continue my life in this poverty, which society had forced me to grow out of. That was their choice; today I made another one: to forget my past. So, when the proposal was made to me, I didn't take long to decide.
My happiness took shape one morning in December when Fonkeu Tchapda, FT, as we called him warmly, an old childhood friend, invited me for a drink when he left the office. He had told me about an opportunity not to be missed. Opportunities don't come along very often. This one, which came from my friend, I absolutely had to seize.
I arrived at the meeting place an hour before FT. The excitement of discovering what he had to offer me had been with me all day. I knew that FT would provide a solution to all my problems. I knew that FT would solve all my problems. In fact, before he told me about it, I had already decided to say yes to everything he would offer me.
FT finally showed up. I took the time to observe him. His suit and black tie had undoubtedly cost a small fortune. One only had to look at all the precautions he took to avoid people who came near him; one had to see how careful he was about where he put his feet... Everything about this friend made me envious. It was decided: I would say "yes" to whatever he served me this evening!
My wait was long, and once he came, he wanted to know what I had become, what I was doing, and even how I was supporting myself.
-Atango I didn't bring you here for nothing, you remember in high school we were very good friends. I'm here to offer you a job, and that's why, with an opportunity like this, I couldn't share it with anyone else but you.
I couldn't believe he was talking about work, and I threw myself at his feet to thank him.
You'll begin tomorrow, and remember to dress well and look good. The next day I arrived in his office, unrecognizable, with a well-coiffed three-piece suit and well-shined shoes. He told me that I was in charge of transporting packages from point A to point B, and he gave me a contract that I signed without even looking at it.
He had strictly forbidden me to open these packages, and after that, he showed me a desk where I had to sit down.
It was a Saturday night and I had stayed a little later than expected, it was about midnight and suddenly I hear screams, it was the screams of a man begging for his life and so out of curiosity.
I went to the room where the noise was coming from and to my surprise I see dead bodies and in the corner of the room I see a pile of human bones, I see FT and other muscular men pouring acid on these corpses and I notice the bag I used to carry every day full of human bones, all this made me nauseous, I vomit which produced a sound and they noticed, they started running after me with ferousity,
I remember running a marathon to escape from these people after me. I'm afraid for my life and what they are doing; I don’t know how I managed to escape them. I did, thanks to my legs and determination, once outside, I told myself I would never set foot in this dark and gloomy place again.
Fear, frustration, profuse sweating, and then screaming to realize what a horrible nightmare it was.
There was a sense of relief because I didn't want this dark, joyless life. That's when I realized that my life was perfect the way it was and that I didn't lack anything.
Looking up at the sky, I thanked God for this incredible life he gave me.
Is it a happy end? Or a Sad end. It could be real who knows...
Are you happy with your life? Think about it.

You never know what's in store for you so doing what's expected from you is the right choice. We have an adage that says never expect the result but do what's been assigned to you. The result is sure as per your deeds. Nice piece of writing.
So deep... I will start using it. Your comment is full of wisdom. I am happy to have written to post. It permitted me to have this piece of wisdom from you.
