Introduce this is one of the alternative means of Transportation that has long been used by the people in my area, a means of transportation that had been victorious in the 70s to 2000s. is a transportation service used to support community activities, both for work rides to other purposes.
The name of this means of Transportation is Becak, a designation for local people. for residents who live in the Southeast Asian region, becak in Indonesian is also owned by countries in other Asian regions with different names. The Myanmar people call it Sai kaa, while the Filipinos call it traysikad, or in other parts of the world such as Africa who call it by the name Riksjaw. this designation refers to the same type of Transport, has the same characteristics and functions that are also the same as a means of transport.

At first, Becak is a transport that is in motion by a bicycle that is pedaled and combined with a cart that can transport people, until in the end as the development of the rickshaw ERA in modification with a motorcycle instead of a bicycle. this aims to make this transport can move more effectively and efficiently in carrying and transporting passengers, a time when the engine rickshaw is in need and become excellent.

Transportation called becak has characteristics that are different from most other transportation, although each country has a wagon shape that is also different. but in general, tricycles have the following characteristics :

The development of this rickshaw was divided into two, pedicab pedals formed from a combination of bicycles and passenger carts with human propulsion, and engine rickshaws formed from a combination of motorcycles and passenger cars driven by engine power from motorcycles. But in function both do have the same function as a means of Transportation called a rickshaw, and are increasingly developing with some other interesting additional elements.
In Indonesia, especially in the provinces of Aceh and North Sumatra, pedicabs remain an alternative transportation option for residents, to go to the market, become a delivery service for children to school, or do other travel activities. even rickshaws today have become a means of transportation for transporting goods, with carts that are modified to transport goods to the maximum.

The weakness of this rickshaw transportation service is, that passengers will feel a slightly greater shock because Per as a shock absorber on the wagon is not so well functioning. in addition, the speed to travel is a little slower, it is because it is to keep passengers safe because it has problems when dealing with rocky or bumpy roads.
For now, rickshaws in my country still operate as a means of regional transportation, although some developed regions have switched to using better transportation services, such as motorcycles or cars. However, rickshaw transport services in the past or may currently play a major role in moving the mobility of the population with various functions of transportation purposes.
