Introduction

Depression and mental disorders have become serious problems today. Depression can make people not aware of what they are doing. Even people who experience depression or mental disorders to the point of committing suicide. Stress is often experienced by many people because of various demands that cannot be handled properly. Various problems such as family problems, environmental problems to work problems often make people experience depression.

What is the definition of stress according to you?

Stress is a change in a person's body reaction when facing a new threat, pressure or situation. Stress can occur because of the demands of a job or other problems that cannot be carried out properly. Almost most people have felt stress from teenagers to adults. When someone experiences stress, it will bring a burden or pressure in life that makes them feel uncomfortable. But there are also people who don't experience stress even though they face many problems.

The causes of stress experienced by each person are certainly different. It really depends on how we accept every pleasant problem. In my opinion, the main cause of someone experiencing stress is economic or financial problems. Disharmonious family problems are also a common cause of stress. Uncomfortable work and environmental problems that cause conflict are also causes of stress.

Do you have any experience?

As a human being, I have also experienced problems that stress me out. The demands of work that feel heavy and must be completed quickly make me depressed. I have also faced family problems which I feel are quite hard for me to face. This makes me stressed, but every problem must be resolved and must not be allowed to drag on without resolution. Every problem we face we must find a solution. This problem will make us more alert and careful.

Do you think suicide is an option?

No matter how big the family problems or work problems we face, there must be the best solution for solving them. It remains for us to find a solution and remove all the burden. Suicide is not the solution to every problem we face. Precisely it can become a new problem that is more complicated and difficult to find a solution.

What are the practices you follow to handle stress?

Actually there are many ways to deal with stress in my opinion. By doing fun activities can make the mind relax. It can be exercise, vacation or adequate rest. Gathering with friends while enjoying a cup of coffee can make the mood calm. The practice that must be done often to deal with stress is of course by getting closer to Allah SWT. Because it is the most powerful drug to deal with stress. Increase reading the Qur'an and pray and perform other worship. May we always be spared from problems that make us stressed.

Every problem have solution. It may be difficult to solve or some problem can easily manageable. We have to be patient when we have bad time.
