I'm not sure people read news paper in my country again because of the use of social media as news and happenings around are posted on the social media platforms.
It's actually sad that the news paper or media houses pick news to print on papers without proper investigation, what they are after is to spread the "breaking news. Whether it's true or not, once the captain "breaking news" is attached, they're sure that people would likely patronize them.
I just hope they'll improve. Best wishes ma'am.
Since most newspapers with us are bankrupt or close to bankruptcy, I doubt they will better their lives. It's cheaper to let google translate old new they find online.
Many are online papers for which you have to pay. Some only print a weekend paper since people no longer have time to read it. We travel to work for over 1 hour, we are at work for at least 9, we travel back, hurry to collect our children at daycare and fall exhsusted on our bed. That's what life looks like while the bills pile up.
That's true, people have no time reading newspapers because they have no time for such. Rather, all effort is channelled into resourceful ventures that will pay our bills.
