Steemit Engagement Challenge S9-W5: "Seeing is believing" versus "Knowing is believing"
"Seeing is believing "versus" Knowing is believing"
Same thing. Most people probably can't tell the difference between one term and the other. When I was young, I didn't really see the difference. Now that he's older, he can tell the difference.
When we see something and believe (know) that it exists, it comes most often simply from our life experiences. It's very hard for me to explain. In general, people believe only what they see. Not everyone, of course, but more on that later. Most people only believe what they see. For example, when you tell a child that there is such a thing as an airplane floating in the air, it will be difficult for such a small child to believe that such a thing exists until he sees it with his own eyes. I'm sure many of you have had a similar situation. We believed it when we saw it.
The other is "Knowing is believing." What we see with our eyes is only a handful of what is happening. We don't see the air, we don't see the feelings, and we don't see the energy that this world has. This energy is everywhere and we will not see it with the naked eye, but we know that it exists. The same can be said about God and religion. We have never seen God, and some believe in him and others do not. But religion is a longer topic because it is also a matter of faith and not just knowledge.
The human brain is capable of believing in anything. This is because the human brain cannot distinguish truth from fiction. So if I know something's good, then I believe it's good because that's how my mind perceives it. If someone thinks the same thing is wrong, they will believe it is wrong. It all depends on how a person was raised and what values he has in himself.
Seeing and believing are easier because we see it, but we also don't see all the emotions and reasons why something happens. When we understand something, we interpret the situation differently. "Seeing is believing "and" Knowing is believing " are connected. In my opinion, one has a lot in common with the other, because you can not fully determine a given situation in life without one and the other.
It's really hard for me to explain, but I think I can do it. In my life, from my own experience, I believe that knowledge and life experience are more important. But I've also seen a lot in my life. The good things and the bad things too.
I invite:
Greetings
I agree with your point of view the both expressions are quite different and sometimes difficult to explain.
We belive on things which we can see, its our nature we often do it. Might be its easy for us to believe it because we have seen it as compared to knowing is believed because its somewhat different and based on verification.
Good luck for contest
Thank you!
Muy certeras tus apreciaciones acerca de estas premisas que tienen mucha utilidad en la vida humana y ambas, poseen basamentos lógicos si se quiere, desde distintos puntos de vista, pero lógicos al fin. Exito en tu excelente entrada.
