Meetup Global official: 3rd Meeting Result Announcement

The meeting

The global meetup initiated on July 25, 2024, has entered the technical planning stage of implementation and calculation of the required budget. Entering this stage, the steering committee (SC) team has monitored and seen the latest developments in this fundraising.

Considering various aspects of the implementation of this global meetup, especially in terms of the benefits that steemians in Indonesia can obtain at this time, the SC team agreed to continue the implementation planning as previously initiated.

To realize this global meetup the implementing team has held another meeting to conduct a comprehensive evaluation regarding the following aspects:

1. Event
2. Venue
3. Participants
4. Budget
5. Time of event

We held the meeting at Hibrida Blang Peuriya on August 10, 2024, at 14:30 WIB until finished and led by El-Nailul. This meeting was attended by:

@heriadi, @irawandedy, @heriadi, @radjasalman, @sofian88, @harferri, @afrizalbinalka.

Through a thorough discussion process, we have drawn several conclusions as follows:

The Event; We will hold a face-to-face meeting and discussion between fellow steemians regarding account security issues and self-development on the steemit platform. It is also possible for participants to create new accounts. This event will be held for half a day from 13:00 to 18:00.

Venue; The place to hold this global meetup will be at Steem Caffee, with a capacity of more than 100 people. With such a capacity, we are sure that it is very suitable to hold this event.

Global meetup participants; Participants who are expected to attend are active steemians in Indonesia, especially in Aceh, and also participants outside Indonesia who are willing to participate online. It should be noted that the concentration of Indonesian steemians is in Aceh, and also some steemians from Aceh currently live outside Aceh. However, there are still some steemians from outside Aceh, but only a small amount of them. The target number of participants who will attend is 100+, and this number will likely be much larger than expected.

Budget; The source of the budget that we expect is from SR, the Committee, and also the participants of this global meetup. With an estimated number of meetup participants of 100+, the committee will also collect a contribution from participants of 10 STEEM which will be returned to participants in the form of meals, drinks, and snacks during the event. For participants who want to print t-shirts, they will be charged an additional fee of 30 STEEM.

Estimated budget needs are: 6,400,000 equivalent to 2,560 steem (price 2,500 IDR/steem)

This budget is subject to all participants donating 10 STEEM

The current funding shortfall for the global meetup is 1,100,000 or 440 steem (exchange rate 2,500/steem). Hopefully, this shortage of budget can be filled in a short time.

Implementation time; The previously planned implementation time was September 15, 2024, and based on the results of yesterday's meeting on August 10, 2024, the implementation date will be moved forward to September 8, 2024, considering the density of national events starting from September 15, 2024. The event hours are planned to start from 13:00 - 18:00. The closing date for participant registration and collection of contributions from participants who will attend is September 4, 2024, at 23:59 WIB.

To facilitate registration, participants can confirm via comments in this post and send participant contributions to the @steemcoffee88 account of 10 STEEM with the memo Meetup Global 2024, and if there are participants who are interested in making clothes with the global meetup logo, they can transfer an additional 30 STEEM with the memo Meetup Global 2024 T-shirt.
