The Diary Game // 22 May 2024 // Midweek activities

Wednesdays are one of the busiest days in the lab. Because this is in the middle of the week most workers do find them to come to the lab for their daily activities and check.

It is rather unfortunate that this particular Wednesday happens to be market day as well. This means more individuals who will come to the market will use the opportunity to come to the lab to carry out their activities.

As a result of that work at the lab becomes more and more cumbersome and tiring since there is no time to rest. As of 7:20 AM, I was at the workplace and I was able to set the who system in place ready for work to kick start at 8.

Because of the number of individuals outside the door ready to come in, there was no need to wait till it was 8 before starting. I then joined the night workers and we began to do the work. Fortunately for us, they were able to carry out the duties that have to.

Because I was also present, I did what I could to help them clear all the things they had to do before closing when their time was due. I then took over from them and began to do the work as expected of us. My colleagues and friends joined me and we were able to continue our work without any difficulties.

We spent so much time working on several other things. We ensure that the work that had to be done was done and the results that have to be delivered have been done. It is rather unfortunate that most customers who used to come to the place were tired of waiting since the workload was huge and results were not as ready as they used to receive it.

Most of them were asked to go and come later for the results depending on the test each individual was performing. some were even asked to go and come the next day. There were no options for them to start as soon as they were supposed to. We went on and it got to the stage that we had to forfeit going for a break in other to provide service.

As such there was an opportunity for us to order food that would be given to us for free. Not free though but it was through our Lab Manager that we were going to get it for free. I was then asked to go for the food and when I went for it I brought it to our sitting room. Most individuals who were there were able to enjoy their share.

Those who were busy at the moment had to wait for others to finish eating and then after those had returned, they could also bo and eat. Fortunately for most of them, they were able to go and get the food and when they got there there was even drink for them as well. Those who had left the place earlier could not get the drink because as of then the sealer had not brought the drink yet.

Right after eating almost all of the workers came into the Lab and we did our best to finish running and performing all the tests that were available for us to do. Most of the patients who were there all had their results and they were able to see the clinician before doing what they had to do.

Right after that, it was almost time for us to close, hence we did our best and then left the place to our various houses to rest. When I got home, I was able to perform work by searching for a few things I wanted to carry out. After a successful search for what I wanted to do, I went to rest.
