It is with great pleasure and honor to come your way once again in other to be able to share with you my daily activities. I have a strong belief that you will find yourself enjoying going through my post. Come let me visualize my day with you and I believe you will enjoy it.

I woke up early this morning in other to be able to get everything in place in the house before going to work. I tried my best to get all the things I needed in place. I did carry out some basic house duties such as cleaning my room and washing the utensils.

I took my time to brush my teeth very well. After that, I picked my sponge and got the right things such as soap and a bucket. I went to the bathroom and I took my shower. I spent a few minutes getting dressed up and getting the right day for myself. What I did include ironing my shirt and applying pomade. When I was done with those things, I went to apply body spray and kept it on my shirt.

I left the house to work as I always do in the morning trying my best to get to work on time. As of 7:12 AM, I was at the workplace. I went to log in my details for reporting to work. I let to do the normal temperature log and ensured that all equipment was working. In a few minutes, I was done with all those things. I had DNA extraction to do. I then kept the tools in the right place.

I went to call some national service personnel to come and help me start the DNA/RNA extraction and also help me finish the work that was done. Fortunately for me, I left the place and when I was away, they all came around. Upon my return, were available hence together we started the DNA extraction and it took us a few minutes in other to finish. This is because many hands were helping in all the things we did.

The engineer then arrived to help install the new machine. Right after the installation, we wanted to see if the installation was complete. As a result, we had some tools that needed to be autoclaved, and that content was brought and autoclaved together with a Media we had to prepare.

While I was autoclaving, I quickly picked up the DNA extracted and began to prepare the PCR master mix for it. It took me several minutes but fortunately, I was able to finish the whole process in good faith. After preparing the master mix, I was able to load the reagent, and we started it all in good faith.

After I was done, I noticed it was done with what it was doing. Fortunately, I just took my time to open it and the content was the well-autoclaved result, I removed them and sent them to the bin. It was thrown away into the incineration. When I was done, the guys who were around came to assist in carrying out all the available work and fortunately, we were able to finish all.

I then had to check the PCR I started and I noticed I was done with the result. All I needed to do was to read the result and confirm with the master mix reagent and brand used. It was an interesting one. We went ahead to continued with our filter blot preparation.

The samples that came to be used for storage as well, as a result, we aliquoted a volume for the HB variant otherwise Known as sickling status. After we were done we then froze the rest of the samples and went home to rest. It was a great day.
