Arsenal 1:3 Manchester City. IS IT THE TURNING POINT FOR MAN CITY TO TAKE OVER?
The defending champions of the English premier league are back to the top position of the league after scoring the gunners on their home grounds. The game ended in a 3:1 win in favor of the visitors who have now climbed to the top of the league with the home team, Arsenal going to the second position.
The premier league's top scorer as it stands now in the league also found the back of the net. But before that, Kelvin De Bruyne and Jack Grealish have already netted with Saka getting a penalty for a consolation goal for the home side. As a result, the defending champion has passed the league leaders and they are on top now although they have a game in hand.
It was rather unfortunate that an error committed by Tomiyasus was utilized by the Manchester side and one of that similar errors by Ederson gave Saka the chance to equalize the goal through a penalty after Nkatiah was fouled. A few minutes afterward a nice workout from the Manchester side gave them another opportunity. This opportunity was converted by Jack Grealish in the 72nd minute of the game before it was sealed by Haaland.
Losing this game means three consecutive times, they have dropped points in each game. Although they have a game in hand they have the same points as Manchester City with City being on top of the league with a goal difference.

Although Saka stepped forward to be able to get a consolation goal through the penalty caused by Nketiah, it was not enough to get the home side any of the important three points in a game like this. Hence in front of their fans, they lost precious three points to their rivals in terms of winning the trophy this particular season.
It was a super excellent game from both teams with the determination to win from both sides. Each side came out with their best performance with arsenal getting the most possession however was not enough to find them the needed three points. The game was quite aggressive but the referee also handled it with great care and it was an excellent game from all angles.
The current table
This has made the premier league a better one and a greater one. The competition is becoming tighter and everyone still has the chance of winning the league, especially the leading three teams. I hope it is not a turnaround for Arsenal to start losing points and to begin dropping to the bottom of the league. I also hope they will pick up to get a better game for them to be able to win their first premier league since the 2003/2004 season.
