Assalamualaikum, Today is February 21 International Mother Language Day. I have been busy with work since morning. Since my medical is never closed, I had to go to Shaheed Minar to honor the mother tongue martyrs after finishing duty at the turn. By that time all the guests have started offering their offered flowers to Shaheed Minar. I feel good that I can join them. As Mother Language Day started at 12:00 on February 20th, I participated in the work at night as preparatory work.

I joined my duty almost after finishing the work. I was able to attend the discussion meeting the next day and sought the forgiveness of the martyrs. I prayed from my heart for the martyrs, may Allah grant them Jannatul Ferdows.
I would like to highlight some things about Mother Language Day and Martyrs as follows:

Language Day:
International Mother Language Day is on the 21st of February every year, it is established by UNESCO. This day is established to appreciate and promote mother tongue and cultural diversity. The day is celebrated for several fundamental purposes, focusing on the promotion of different languages and cultures, the right to free language, and the equality of languages.

The objectives of this day include language diversity, language equality, language cultural specialization, and language mourning. It is a very important day to promote linguistic diversity, language and cultural religion, and human rights.
This day plays a fundamental role in promoting languages worldwide raising public awareness of language diversity and supporting language and cultural rights.

• Status and importance of mother tongue:
The history and historical significance of the mother tongue have extended in many directions, fundamentally influencing the social, cultural, and state aspects. The mother tongue plays an important role in a society's elite and historical identity and may be established as a national or state language.

In ancient times, human societies used language to express their thoughts, continuities, and relationships to social communication and culture. Through this use of language, the society is formed by the unity and togetherness of the society.

Historically, the mother tongue has often served as a source of national pride and independence struggle. His natural ability and literacy were felt to serve as a mother tongue in the freedom struggle. In this struggle, the mother tongue played an important role in preserving and achieving independence.
