Travel Contest - Have You Been Here: Jervis Bay, NSW

in STEEM FOR BETTERLIFElast year (edited)
That's true, everyone has their own way to enjoy the holidays and spend free time with family, and so do I. Maybe I am obsessed with traveling, and even the thought of going to some places makes me feel excited. Jervis Bay is one of them. I have visited it a number of times, but I wish I could go there every few weeks.

So, We Visited Natural Habitat of Dolphins and Whales in NSW, Australia when one of my coworkers showed his interest in going to Jervis Bay, we four took the opportunity and started from Canberra on a Friday evening at about 4.

Why do you like the place?

At 7.30 in the evening, we were at Jervis Bay because we took a break on the way for twenty minutes. We had The mornings here are breathtakingly beautiful. We had already booked a private beach house with all facilities, including topped-up kitchen accommodation, in the peaceful area of Nelsons Beach, where people can engage in all kinds of activities like swimming, fishing, surfing, or just walking as we did.

The next morning When my friend's family was still sleeping at 5, I came out of the beach house and was walking and enjoyed the view of the Pacific Ocean at Jervis Bay while watching the cyclists early in the morning on the beautiful cycle path.

I love visiting this place for its beauty, and more than that, because this region is known for having the whitest sand in the world.

I will tell you the story as if I were there this weekend, although I visited this place last on a Friday evening in the first week of December 2020.

When we planned to visit Jervis Bay, we thought we would be here until the next evening before moving to the Blue Mountains in NSW!

What public facilities are available there so that visitors feel comfortable

You name it and you have it. This place has everything from the best beaches, hotels, beach houses, and restaurants that provide the best food from all the continents in the world.

I will continue my story...

But when we saw the gathering, which was larger than expected, we thought, ?Can we stay here for longer or stay here for the entire weekend?"

At the same time, we were feeling sorry that we were traveling in a car and not in a caravan with my partner and another couple. But then the caravan rental service canceled the booking because of the COVID-19 advisory, so our advance caravan program was canceled too.

We were lucky that the beach house we booked allowed us to reschedule the dates of our visit otherwise, they could refund our money, and that would be the end of the program.

We were loving what we were doing.

I was feeling happy that our plan to travel about 1400 km until Sunday evening was rescheduled, and now we will stay here and go back to Canberra on Sunday evening, a journey of about 300 km plus that we could cover in three hours.

Here I give you my video with all my activities, probably on Monday if all goes well as planned. But please don't mind the noise as it was too windy and the sound of the boat made it even more noisy.

In the meantime, watch the beauty of my present location.

This is the place where we stayed tonight. You can see the Pacific Ocean in the picture behind the trees.

The next day I had a walk in the morning around the area where we were staying.

At 9, we reached the place where we were scheduled to get our cruise boat and went inside the Pacific Ocean for a 3-hour trip.

Dolphins and whales, we saw what we came to see here

Please let me give you as many details as possible in my own way.

How much does it cost, tickets or anything to visit the place.

If we visit this place today going from my present location in India, it will cost us about $9-100000 for three days, which is equal to 50-60000 Steem at today's rate. But we went there in December 2020 when we were living just 300 plus kilometers away, so it cost us much less. But as we are leaving soon so I hope to visit this place in the coming summer vacation in the month of December again.

We spent about:

$80 or 450 Steem on petrol
$200 or 1200 Steem for two days and two nights at the house we rented
$400 or 2400 Steem for a cruise trip
$200 or 1200 Steem for food and drinks

So we spent approximately $900, or Steem 5000, for four, which comes to 1250 Steem per head.

Write your recommendation so that it can attract other visitors.

We loved staying in this beautiful tourist resort, and I am sure if you visit this place for a family holiday to Jervis Bay, bubbling with visitors but otherwise quiet and peaceful, you will love it. We visited a number of beaches, including Blenheim and Chinaman's Beach, and we also wanted to go to Hyams Beach, but that was not possible because we spent a lot of our time walking on the cruse site taking photos.

And watching the excited families, especially the kids was fun in itself.

We spent some of our time watching cricket as the matches were going on. However, we loved cooking our breakfast and then topping it with lots of fresh fruit. The place where we were staying we loved, as staying here gave us a view of the Pacific Ocean.

If you wish to watch dolphins and whales in their natural habitat, Jervis Bay is the best place in the world.

I invite @jojepha, @graceleon and @goodybest to visit this place.
