Today I will try to share my experience about introducing Steemit to mothers who received PKH social assistance in the area I assisted, namely in Cibrek Village, Syamtalira Bayu District.

I'm just trying to introduce a little What is Steemit?

Steemit is a social networking and blogging site on top of the Steem blockchain database. The Steem blockchain generates STEEM and Steem Dollars which token users can use to earn posts, and comment on interesting content.

I have to say, it's not easy being a teacher. If it were easy, of course everyone would be a teacher. Is not it?

Sometimes when you become a teacher, it turns out that not all teachers can teach well. I see this in my area.
Every individual person, on various occasions is actually in a position to be a teacher, must teach something. But like teachers in schools, there are people who can be good teachers, some are not. Often people argue, he is not talented as a teacher. But often what happens is, there is no desire to teach something well. hehehehe

Here are some tips to become a teacher:

First, we ourselves must master the material we want to teach. If this part is met, we may have exceeded more than 50% of the need to teach something easily. The biggest problem for teachers is that they don't master the material. Got it, but only partially. That is why explanations from experts are usually easy for us to digest.

This is the biggest part of our education problem. Many teachers do not understand the material they teach. He is just a memorizer. The rest, he recites the material in front of the class, by rote, or reading textbooks. He hopes that his students will also memorize it like him.

The second condition is the desire to share. Remember, once again, teaching is sharing. We share what we know. Because we want to share, there is a goal that we want to achieve, namely the arrival of knowledge to others. Teaching becomes different when the teacher intends to show off his knowledge, or wants to humiliate others. In order to teach easily, such feelings must be eliminated.

The next thing that is important in teaching is, empathize with the people we teach. There is a half-joking saying that very intelligent people find it difficult to be good teachers. The one who can be a good teacher is a person who is not very intelligent. He used to have many difficulties in learning, so he knows how difficult his students are now. Intelligent people will never understand the predicament.

The most important thing in this case is not a matter of being smart or not, but a matter of empathy. Just imagine how we explain something to a child. What are we doing? We will start explaining from what he already understands, using simple vocabulary, according to the vocabulary he already has. This principle applies to teaching at all levels. Therefore, when we want to teach, we need to know who we want to teach. Recognition of the listener's background is one of the important components in training needs analysis.

The next step is to prepare various methods to make people understand. It is often necessary to explain through various approaches or points of view. This is where mastery of the material comes into play. People who understand the material as a whole, can see the problem and explain it from various points of view. He will easily be able to build analogies, simulations, or models, which make it easy for people to understand the problem being discussed.

The greatest obstacle to teaching is a lack of desire to teach. Many knowledgeable people think that only he can master something, so they are reluctant to teach others. Other people he thought would not be able to master that knowledge. There are also those who are afraid of being rivaled, the people he teaches will later become more skilled.
Educating and teaching is a very important part of leadership. One measure of successful leadership is the success of the leader in educating cadres, with skills equal to his, or higher. Not a few leaders fail to understand this aspect. They think that being a great leader is if he can stand like a tall tower, in the midst of people who are not able to match him, so that he becomes very prominent.
In short, teaching is actually a matter of being stooped down, humbled before the people we share with. It's like sitting down with children, making our eyes level with theirs, then starting to communicate empathetically.
