Steemit Engagement Challenge S3-W4: The Role of the Various Genders by @divyeshvegada

Hello Friends of Steem,

Since I am participating in this week's challenge of engagement, the topic shared by this community somehow drew me to write about it. For the benefit of people in my geographic area, I have written paragraphs in Gujarati language and also made them available in English for global readers.

અત્યાર ના સમય માં તો મહિલા અને પુરુષો વચ્ચે ઘણા ભેદભાવ ખતમ થઇ ગયા છે, તો પણ થોડા-ઘણા ભેદભાવ તો જોવા મળે જ છે. કેમ કે, અત્યારે સમાજ માં ઘણી વિચારદ્રષ્ટિ ને લીધે આ ભેદભાવ જોવા મળે છે, અને મોટા ભાગ ની સ્ત્રીઓ જ આ ભેદભાવ ને સ્વીકાર કરે છે.ઘણી સ્ત્રીઓ સમાજ ના વિચારો ના અંકુશ માં રહે છે, અને જો કોઈ બીજી સ્ત્રી તેનાથી વિરુદ્ધ પોતાની આઝાદીથી સમાજ ના વિચારો અને રીતિ-રિવાજ થી અલગ કઈંક કરે તો અંકુશ માં રહેતી સ્ત્રીઓ દ્વારા તેને ખરાબ આંકવામાં આવે છે.

While many discriminations between men and women have been eliminated in our current age, some discriminations still persist. In the current society, there are many ideologies that contribute to this discrimination, which most women accept as part of their life. If she deviates from the customs and ideas of the people, she is considered bad by the women who subscribe to the ideology of society.

રોજ-બરોજ ના જીવન માં પુરુષોએ ઘણું સહન કરવું પડે છે, જેમ કે તે ખુલ્લીને પોતાની લાગણી દર્શાવી શકતા નથી અને ખુલ્લી ને રડી પણ નથી શકતા. મોટા ભાગ ના પુરુષો બહારથી પોતાની લાગણી નથી બતાવતા ભલે ને પછી તે અંદર થી દુઃખી હોય. કેમ કે જો તે બધા સામે રડે તો તેમને નબળા માણસ તરીકે સમજવા માં અવે છે.

Throughout their day-to-day lives, men also experience a lot of suffering, including being unable to express their emotions and cry freely. It is common for men to conceal their feelings on the outside even when they are hurt internally. The reason is that if he cries in front of everyone, he will be perceived as a weak man.

અત્યારે તો મોટાભાગે કમાવવા પુરુષો જ જાય છે.ઘણી સ્ત્રીઓ એ પાછલા એક-બે દશક થી કમાવવા જવાનું ચાલુ કર્યું છે. પણ વધુ પડતા ઘર માંથી તો પુરુષો જ કમાય છે અને સ્ત્રીઓનું કામ ઘર ને સંભાળવાનું હોય છે. મોટા ભાગની સ્ત્રીઓ ગૃહિણી બનીને રહે છે અને બાળકો ને સંભાળવાનું કામ પણ લગભગ સ્ત્રીઓ જ કરે છે. અત્યારે લગભગ દેશ માં દંપતી જયારે માતા-પિતા બને ત્યાર પછી કમાવા જવાનું કામ પુરુષ કરે છે, અને બાળકો અને ઘર ને સંભાળવાનું કામ સ્ત્રી કરે છે.

The majority of men work to earn a living at present. The number of women entering the labor force has increased significantly over the last two decades. In reality, men are the only ones who earn from the house, while women are responsible for taking care of the house. It is almost solely the responsibility of women to care for their children as most of them remain housewives. Currently, when a couple becomes parents, the man is responsible for earning income, and the woman is responsible for caring for the children and household.

જયારે સ્ત્રી પ્રેગ્નેન્ટ થાય છે અને તેને બાળક નો જન્મ થાય છે ત્યારે તેની નોકરી પર થી રજા મળે છે.પરંતુ એક પિતા ને એના બાળક સાથે સમય પસાર કરવા માટે નોકરી પર થી કોઈ સ્પેશિયલ રજા મળતી નથી.કારણ કે, એક પિતા માટે પણ તેના બાળક નો જન્મ મહત્વ ની ક્ષણ હોય છે, તેને પણ પોતાના બાળક સાથે સમય પસાર કરવો હોય છે. પરંતુ તેને આ મહત્વ ની ક્ષણ માટે કોઈ સ્પેશ્યલ રજા મળતી નથી.

As soon as a woman becomes pregnant and gives birth to a child, she is granted leave from work. In contrast, a father does not receive any special leave from work in order to spend time with his child. The birth of a child is a special moment, and the father also needs to spend time with his child. However, he does not receive any special leave in honor of this momentous occasion.

અત્યારે તો મોટાભાગ ના દેશોમાં આવું જ જોવા મળે છે. ઘણા દેશોના સમાજ ના વિચારો આવા જ હોય છે, અને ત્યાંના પુરુષો અને સ્ત્રીઓ નું નિયતકાર્ય આ રીતે જ હોય છે. ઘણા પછાત દેશો માં તો સ્ત્રીઓને લગ્ન પહેલા બીજા કોઈ પુરુષ સાથે સબંધ રાખવાની મનાઈ છે. જો કોઈ સ્ત્રી એવું કરે તો તેને મારી પણ નાખવામાં આવે છે. ઘણા દેશ માં તો સ્ત્રીઓ ને ગાડી ચલાવા પાર પણ મનાઈ છે. તેમને ડ્રાયવિંગ લાઇસન્સ પણ કાઢી દેવામાં આવતું નથી.

Currently, most countries experience this phenomenon. This is the way in which many societies think, and this is the way that men and women conduct their daily lives. Many backward countries prohibit women from having sexual relations with another man prior to marriage. In the event that a woman does so, she is also killed in some countries . Women are also prohibited from driving in many countries. They do not even have their driving licenses.

મને આ પ્લેટફોર્મ પાર કામ કરી ને ખુબ આનંદ થાય છે. કેમ કે, આ પ્લેટફોર્મ પાર સ્ત્રી કે પુરુષ વચ્ચે ભેદભાવ જોવા મળતો નથી. બધા લોકો સારી રીતે અને ભેગા મળી ને કામ કરે છે, અને તેમના કામ અને કન્ટેન્ટ પ્રમાણે તેમને વોટ મળે છે.
