Hi steemians,,,

I hope you all are well. Glad to be participating in this contest and thanks to @klen.civil for organizing this.

This is my entry into the contest.

If you like street food, Sri Lanka is the place for you.

When you say street food in Sri Lanka, you can see a wide variety of food. The food and drink style of the people is cultural and fascinating. Sinhalese, Tamils, Muslims and burghers have different street foods. All of them are very tasty and seasoned with Sri Lankan spices. Street food is a must for us if we go for a walk. And there are many popular dishes that we can easily get and enjoy for the money we have. Below are some of the most popular street foods.

  • Wade
  • Roti
  • Rolls
  • Bundi
  • Bites
  • Ice cream kottu
  • Pickles
  • Kurakkan helapa
  • Tose

Of these, I go somewhere, stay at home, and remember that pickles taste good on the tongue..

My favorite street food is "pickles"

It's a lot of fun. This pickle is an addictive little food. Once eaten, your taste buds will tingle. These are made from fruits and vegetables. These pickles are made by adding spices such as mango, olive, nelli(amla), aubergine, throat, bilin, avacado, jamba and grapes.

What are the spices used for this?
Salt
Pepper Powder
Chillies Powder
Sugar
In addition to these substances, water and sometimes coconut are also added.

Let's see how to prepare a mango pickle.
