Welcome to my blog.

Do you think there is life after death? This has been a question that has never been revealed to anyone, including me. All we do is get confused by the wrong things people say and still stay here on earth waiting for the Kingdom of God to arrive, which is everlasting life. In this life, every parent is opportune to live, grow old, and give birth to children, and in that way, they die off and generations come and go.

In our culture here in Nigeria, and especially in the eastern part, we believe that when someone dies, he comes back to the world with another face and a different parent but still exists in the same family. I have seen so many examples of this, and that's why I confirm and believe it. This can be detected if the new-born child plays like or has the character of the other person who has died. Some of these characteristics might be the way they talk, the way they do many things, or speaking the last words that the person spoke with his family before dying.

Although so many people never believed this, based on our culture, we strongly believe it, and it happens every day, just like my aunty, who just gave birth to a baby boy the previous year. The first time the child talked, he said exactly the words our grandpa said before dying: he told us that he would start his education at a very tender age, and this new child has been disturbing and wanting to go to school even though he just started learning how to talk. This is to say that what our culture believes is really working, and we will stick to it.

I will say that the dead come back to life in the form of another person. I know some of you must have witnessed this in your family, and this is to say that it is real. Here in Africa, we believe so much in our culture, and we don't joke with it.

Is this statement valid or misleading?

I will say that this message is really valid for me, and based on my culture and the beliefs of my people, I will say that the dead really do come back to life from the same origin they formally came from. The reason is because I have seen and witnessed it. It's not that they come back to life with the same face or look; rather, any child that displays the attitude or anything related to a deceased family member, we will say that he or she is a descendant of the late family member, and it's normal.

you think we should believe in our culture?

We should truly believe in our culture because culture is the people's way of life, and we as young kids should try to know those old things. Just like here in Africa, there are lots and lots of cultures that we practice, and most of them have been wiped away because of the coming of the British. They have just come and wiped out the bad ones and left the good ones for us; those bad ones include slave trade, the killing of twins, and using humans as sacrifices to gods.

So I will conclude that when following or practicing any culture of our people, we should be careful and choose the good ones, because these cultures might have their own effect on us. I will conclude by saying that we should adopt those cultures that are not misleading.

Thank you all for reading through my entry. Culture is really important, and we should try to teach the young ones about the way our people from the olden times do things, such as the way they survived, the way they do things, and others.
