Steemit Engagement Challenge S9-W3: "Kindness That Changed My Life

_{Hello dear friends, am here to express to you the kindness that changed both my mindset and life. The team is really doing a great job in every community, and so therefore I will like to be participating in this incredible contest, just stay tuned and hear me out.}

There have been alot of kindness that impacted my life but today I will be letting us know just one out of the many.

This situation occured when I was working in my former work place where we enroll for NIN, Sim Card registration and POS with some accessories and phones we sell. I was enjoying staying there until something bad happened to both the business and I.

I was just sitted in the office one day when a certain man came in a hurry to withdraw cash. I asked him to come inside but he pretended to be in a hurry and could not come inside. And so I considered whatsoever situation he was in and then proceeded with the transaction.

He entered his pin as required and then i proceeded with every other things. Earlier that day i wasn't feeling too well and so it affected me. Looking at the POS screen I saw "Approved" then after counting the whole of 150k I gave it to him then he left. I looked at the screen again and realized it was written "Declined" meaning that the money didn't enter the POS account. I was very astonished and shivering because I didn't know where to get that amount of money to pay back.

When my boss came back, on explaining everything to him, he scream that I was talking nonsense. I even added my health issues that resulted to that lost but he never believed. In the next three days time, he called the police on me which came as an invitation, I went there and then we stated how the payment will go which is, I will work for him and recover the payment.

I worked to a point then I stopped. He noticed I never came to work again then he kept mute. Next my mum went to his office and talked things out with him, unknowingly to my mum, my boss already called the police to come carry her. The call I got next was that, my mum is in Police station.

When I reached there I saw my boss acting like he didn't know what he did. My mum came out and started scolding him over ordinary 50k that was remaining, she said a lot of things to him. Because of the way I was good to him, he had a second thought,. Then when we were heading home, he kept on following us like he had another plan. The next was, he called out to my mum, pleaded for her to wait, he then started confessing that it was people that forced him to take the case to the police. So he have called us inorder to die the case, promising us that he will go to the police station the next day to clear it off.

My joy was that, I prayed including the fact that he still showed me kindness in the end despite what people told him to do.

I felt very happy, excited and relieved. It was a thing of Joy for me and my family too because it was really giving me sleepless nights on how I will pay the money I didn't take. From that day on wards the burden of knowing that I owe someone was vanished. I was never Disturbed again neither did the police come after me again.

This particular situation impacted me emotionally, it brought a new change in me. It happens to be that whosoever that's in that situation I will either help them sort it out or know what best to do, if the person is genuine enough to understand and admit he's wrong.

People do a lot of things which actually turns out to be a mistake, there's no perfect being on earth. If the same happens to me, I will eventually forgive whoever it is because you see this world? Nothing lasts forever, everyone obtain one lost or the other.

There are lots of lessons to be learnt from the story I brief which reflect to kindness. I got to learn that it costs nothing to be nice to people because you don't know where the wind of the world will take you to tomorrow. There are some good acts and behaviour that stirs up one's hunger to help you, so never joke with the behavior you display outside. Make sure to act nice and behave well, eyes are watching.

Yes!,...i have been passing it on and it makes me feel more grateful to this man that showed kindness to me and many other people. Taking for an instance, as I see an old woman on the road, she's about to cross the road but the vehicle is much and none wants to stop. I will kindly hold her by hands, and help her cross the road.
