Introduction

Good morning to y'all. I hope you are all doing great in this beautiful Community. We are already into the last week which is week4 and day-3. It's an honor participating in this community once more. The contest this week is talking about Our Involvement in Acts of Kindness which is an important topic. So I will be dropping down my entry as soon as possible

Act of kindness is an important action and a deliberate act which is usually fixed in offering kindness to people by being caring, compassionate and selfless by carrying out unconditional kindness to them. We live in a world where some people are going through alot. We should always endeavor to use any opportunity we have and help others unconditionally without expecting anything in return

I have been involved in countless of unconditional help and act of kindness as I have helped people through various ways which I will be explaining some of this ways Below 👇

1. Helping A Neighbor To Go And Plant Trees and Clear His Forest
At the mountain forest for carrying out tree planting

I was involved in an act of kindness work which I had to go with my neighbor to his forest which Is very far from where we are living and this forest is in another village which is right inside the interiors of Mankon village and further away from the palace. It is also a very risky place because it is where the Ambazonia terrorist are located and they always kidnap people at this place. Though they constantly kidnap people at this place, I still had to take the risk in going with my neighbor and his family to his forest so that we could clear and clean the forest then also plant trees.

We left Bamenda and traveled down to Mankon on that day, we where 8 in number because his children was amongs us. Though I was afraid, I am happy we succeeded in reaching the Mankon village and went directly to his forest which is also very far inside the village, we tracked for about 1 hour before reaching the forest after traveling on a vehicle to the village. We succeeded and work through out that day and planted about 200 eucalyptus siblings after clearing and cleaning the forest

2. Traveling to My Friend's Village and helping him On His Irish potatoes Farm

At My Friend's farm in his village

On this day, my friend who is to me like a brother whom we we where roommates when I was still in the University had to follow him and go to his village right at M’mouck-Aghong Village which is located in Lebialem Divison in the Southwest region of Cameroon. It is also very far because I live in the Northwest Region. My friend @desireforku is having a very big farm in the village where he cultivates Irish potatoes and sell In tones since it is a very big farm about 2.5 hecters

So I had to follow him and show him some act of kindness as we travelled to his village and spend 1week there. During that 1week of my stay in his Village, though the place was extremely very cold, together with him, we had to work continually for 7-days straight days since his Irish potato was in a state where it needed still care and attention. Every morning at about 6am, we will go and disconnect water from the pipes flowing into the farm and In the evening, we will go and connect back water into the farm. Then we also sprayed the farm on two occasions that week

3. Carrying out Bridge Cleaning With My Team(actofkindness)

The NGO where I was first working is YEESJA (Youths empowerment for economic and SOCIAL justice in africa). During this time, we carried out alot of activities by going round and carrying out actofkindness. My boss and I had discovered that the City chemist bridge was not clean and water couldn't flow normally due to too much dirt thrown into the river which caused the water not to be flowing properly. Grass had also grown all over the bridge hence also distorting the water from flowing and the bridge was stinky smelling

Since people could not clean it, my boss and I took the previllege in going out together with the children under our NGO to clean the bridge. We organized a day, it was a Saturday morning, we all went with working equipments like cutlasses, hoe, spade and gloves and did thoroughed cleaning by clearing the banks of the bridge. We also entered inside the bridge and removed all plastics materials and dirts that where causing water not to be properly flowing

We worked in the bridge from 8am in the morning to 12 noon which is 4 hours of work. We did everyone and water started flowing normally and the bridge wasn't stinky smelling again as before. All this work was simply act of kindness because we didn't expect anything from the government or from the community

Conclusion

Thanks so much for your time everyone, I will end here by inviting my dear friends @tangwe-rene, @tenguhatanga, @wyzcekunited, @ngwerast, @monjuapollonia and @echamroland to come and participate in this amazing contest by telling us your act of kindness activities you have been carrying out

Much regards : @chiabertrand

Yes brother that's right, we live a in world where some people are always badly in need of our help. This is why I always help anyone if I have the chance and the opportunity irrespective of wether the person will help me in return or not

Thanks for the well wishes, may you stay strong and safe too

Wow you seem to be a hands on deck guy. Helping out manually. I enjoyed reading your post. You have had experiences where you've shown alot of kindness but the one where you went to the forest is dangerous ooo. Especially with those boys there. That one is not kindness again, it's act of selflessness. My God continue to bless you as you keep doing the good work.

Hahaha 🤣 I had to help my neighbor because he needed people to go with him to the forest and besides that, he assured us of road safety because the boys where hardly spotted there again since they had gone into hiding right inside the bushes

Thank you so much for your good wishes my friend😊

I can see that you and your neighbor did a re doing a great job by promoting afforestation rather than promoting deforestation , it a good thing since it will help in beautified nature and also increase the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere the by reduce the rate of global warming and green house effect

Yeah exactly bro. I was happy going to Mankon that day to help my neighbor in his forest to plant trees and also clear his forest. I was so happy doing that and I thank God we succeeded and return back home successfully because we where afraid of ambas since they mostly visit the area

That is absolutely true with the ongoing situation happening in the north west and south west region of cameroon but we thank God it was a safety journey

Those were some great acts of kindness @chiabertrand, assisting people is very rare among the present generation.

You see why your act stand out?...because you took time to help others and thats what humanity needs.

This most have spread smile on thier faces right?...now thats the good part, stick to it.

Maybe other acts of charities could be looked into, like providing for the needy, establishing some useful projects for the benefit of the people of your country...

Lets embrace charity, i love seeing these in Africa.

Whenever you think of embarking on any charitable activities, don't fail to tag me or draw my attention. I'll offer the little support i can, now thats a promise.

Hello my good friend, indeed you have shown brotherly loved by following your neighbor to the farm to cultivate in a very risky forest. Friends are meant to help each other and you have done exactly that.

Also i was pleased to you that you also need engaged yourself with an NGO to take good care of Bridge in order to maintain the bridge so everyone in your Community can walk through and flow.

Thank you so much for showing brotherly loved and also or helping your Community. Best of luck to you.
