Adventures in 2024 || "Back to Krueng Tuan"

Who doesn't like Adventure?, I think almost everyone likes this activity. This is an activity that really challenges your adrenaline. Especially if we do it somewhere open and in the wild.
Like I did some time ago in 2024. My destination is Krueng Tuan Village, Nisam Antara sub-district. A remote village located in the middle of the forest. Don't expect that you will get an internet connection easily here, I even had to climb a tree to get an internet signal.

Actually this is my third visit to this place. Coincidentally, I have a relative who lives and settles in this village. So I can go on an adventure to this place at any time, depending on the conditions and time I have.
This is different from most people who are used to visiting or just bathing in the Krueng Tuan river which is famous for its cool and clean water. I'm actually not interested in going to this river which is located under the main causeway bridge.
I was more interested in going on an adventure to a small river located in the middle of the forest. This river is only about 20 meters wide. On the side of the river there are palm oil plantations and areca nut plantations owned by local residents.
Several large rocks appear to stand firmly around the river. This river flows slowly because the river is not very deep. The water is very cool and clear. However, unfortunately, during my visit this time, the river water was a little murky due to natural conditions where it had just rained.
To access this river, I had to walk for about half an hour on a downhill road. Actually, this road can be accessed by two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles. However, because it had just rained, the road conditions became slippery. I don't want to risk falling or slipping, so I prefer to walk.
Apart from the beautiful and natural views of the forest, we can also find various types of beautiful forest flowers here. Various types of insect species are also found here.
But unfortunately I don't have much time to hunt and take pictures of these beautiful animals. Moreover, I forgot to bring the macro lens which I left at home.
I spent about an hour here just to take a shower accompanied by several members of my family and also my relatives.
Satisfied with enjoying the natural beauty and coolness of this small river, I immediately left the location and returned home using the same road access. Only this time I had to walk a little uphill with a slope of around 40 degrees.
There is no such thing as satisfaction in going on an adventure. I hope I will return to this place in the future, God willing, and see you.. 👋
