The Diary Game || 22-06-23 || A hectic day learning a skill, attending training and lectures...

It was a day filled with memories. Words can't just describe how happy and excited I was. The beams of smiles were just too much to create an impact. I was just mesmerized by the fun, pranks, crazy moments and love in general. What was my day really made of that tend to spread my happiness earth wide? I'll describe it in 5 words. Happiness, Love, Fun, Craziness and Emotions. This is how my day went.

Activities at home

On a Thursday morning, I woke up feeling lost in thoughts. Stress of school is slowly engulfing me. I did my usual activities which is reading an academic material before moving to doing my chores, exercise and then examine the scriptures with my family. The scripture we considered that day was very encouraging and inspiring.

After examining the scriptures with my family, I did preparations to leave for my IT. On arriving there, the woman was surprised to see me and besides, I was the only one there. I actually went there because my crew were on a daily training which is opposite the place I'm doing my IT. Since it was the same place, I decided to learn something from the fashion house before going for school training.

I felt alone at some point as my classmates were not there to give me vibes. Hopefully, I got there in time, when the woman was about cutting a flare gown to sew for a customer. I decided to learn something from her before moving for training.

The measurements were

Shoulder: 17 inches
Burst: 9 inches
Length: 39 inches

The sketch to what she did was drawn by me. I was trying to understand the whole process as she was behind time for delivery. I made a quick sketch of what she did.

She brought out a 4 yards material to use. She started by taking the edges of one side and then folding it in the shape of a flare gown. After folding it to look like an Halloween cap, she took measurements from the top edge to the shoulder.....

She then measured the shoulder which was 17 inches. From the shoulder to the burst, she marked 9 inches for the burst with a white chalk. After doing so, she measured the length and cut it according to the shape. She carved it out and then used the carved piece to cut another.

Note: The gown must always have front and back of which she cut it accordingly into 2 pieces first and then to 4. After cutting the front and back, she carved the flare for the joining of the Gown and then cut joining for the neck and some designs. She then started joining essential parts of which I wasn't present till the finishing. I left for my training as we were having a match to play....

My crew had this all match with villagers in that village. The tournament was just sufficient enough to make me laugh as well as put a smile on my radiant face. The ladies in my crew started with girls in the village and then the guys followed suite.

My crew girls scored the villagers 2 goals while the villagers scored a goal. The fun and everything about the match was just too funny, especially the clustering. My day was made that day. I took pictures of them play and they also took pictures of me playing with guys in my crew against the villagers.

I was securing the post as you can see in the picture above. Look at how tired and stressed I was already because the timing was just too long. The match ended 3-0. We scored the villagers three goals. What a lost for them? Hence, we were declared winner and the match ended.

We took pictures as a group after the match and then went to freshen up before leaving the training center. I left the training center to check on that fashion house before attending an integral lecture which attendance was mandatory. They showed me the output of the clothes they were cutting which impressed me a lot. I was just as weak as a sack of rice.

The lecture was quite interesting though I was extremely tired. I listened less to the lecture and paid more attention to myself. After the lecture, we left for our individual homes....Such a hectic day of which I remembered less. I was the moments we created in that training center I remembered. The fun, shared moments, craziness and hilarious moments improved my smile. I just miss the moment I shared with them especially this lady on joggers......

Extremely tired, I got home and went to bed without considering waking up to read.

Lessons

We carryout Various activities on a daily basis which could be tedious and time consuming. It may be hectic but the moments we share, that interpersonal relationship with others seem to last longer in our minds asides the stress and that's the most important lessons about life. Stress is a daily encounter but moments with people is on rare occasion, so we should cherish these moments before they turn to Memories.
