A Nourishing Food; "Mixed Cereal".
Nature provides us with a variety of food for our consumption and health. We get to have a variety of tastes, and this alone brightens our faces and makes life enjoyable. We may be focusing on solid foods for mature people and neglecting cereals such as Durra, millet, soybean, corn, etc which may be nourishing for babies from six months of age. In the post, I will be writing about how to prepare mixed cereals and some of their nutritional benefits. Let's begin first with the nutritional benefits of cereals.
NUTRITIONAL BENEFITS OF CEREALS
1. Durra: Durra contains iron, phenolic, and phenolic, which can serve as antioxidants. It also contains protein which helps in building our body.
2. millet; millet contains niacin, and this niacin helps in building healthy skin. Millet also contains beta-carotene that converts vitamin A and supports the immune system in fighting free radicals. It also controls sugar.
3. Soybean; soybean is enriched with the primary protein and fat.
4. Groundnut: Groundnut is enriched with protein and saturated fat. And these nutrients help in building healthy skin.
From the above cereals, we can see eating cereals can be beneficial. But how does it taste when mixed to have a meal? Let's first of all get to learn the ingredients of mixed cereal for a meal.
INGREDIENTS FOR MIXED CEREAL
One may choose cereal of different kinds, but for this Post, the following are the ingredients;

Let's now learn how to prepare mixed cereal
STEPS TO PREPARING MIXED CEREAL
1. Purchase the cereals, separate the chaff, and wash the cereals with water.
2. Dry the cereals. Use an oven or any means of drying known to you. But I used the primitive method for drying, that is, setting up the fire with firewood, then putting the cereals in a drying pot and placing it on fire, stirring it until it is completely dried.
3. Grind the cereals all together, then you will have a powder-mixed cereal.
4. Scoop your powder-mixed cereal into a small pot, add clean water to it, and stir, then place it on fire and continue stirring till you have a molten form of it. Note that the quantity of water should complement the quantity of the mixed cereal.
5. Turn your molten mixed cereal into your eating plate, add the right quantity of milk, and enjoy the palatable taste.
Note: Step 2 is a method of preservation.

Mixed cereal is another method of enjoying cereals; it is nutritionally beneficial, builds the body, and gives consumers healthy skin. Mixed cereal is especially good for babies who are no longer satisfied with just drinking milk. Since their foods need to mostly be in molten form, mixed cereal proves to be suitable because of its nutritional benefits; it would enrich your baby.
