Travel Contest - Have You Been Here (Tangerine Beach Hotel)

This is my entry to the contest, Travel Contest - Have You Been Here (Add the name of the place you visit, organized @irawandedy.
Location of the hotel
This is about one of the famous beach hotels in Sri Lanka. I went there a few months ago with my wife and some friends. This hotel is situated in Kaluthara, Sri Lanka, near the beachside. When traveling from Colombo to Kaluthara, you can find the hotel on the right side of the road. Kaluthara is also a famous city and a traveling destination for the famous Kaluthara beach and the Kaluthara temple.
We departed home at around 7.00 am, expecting to join our friends at the hotel. We could reach the hotel at around 2.00 pm, the hotel's exact check-in time. Our friends were already there.
Then we went to our rooms after taking some photos and selfies. Then we rested there. After resting, we hung out around the hotel until dinner.

Why do I like this place?
This hotel has great photo locations and is built like an ancient building. The way inside the hotel is somewhat confusing, but it is not too difficult to find.
In the morning we went to the beachside. There is access to the sea from the hotel since there is a fence built by the hotel, which separates the hotel from the beach. But we can have a great view of the sea from the fence. The ground area near the beach is fantastic to enjoy.

Public facilities of the place
This place has great facilities that every 4-star hotel should have. Also, they offer great buffets. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast the next day. However, comparing these two, breakfast was outstanding.

Cost of the place
The cost for half-board was doubled to 26,000 LKR.

My recommendations
I honestly recommend this place to anyone who likes the beachside. However, the quality of the food is a bit lower than that of other nearby-star hotels.
