On Monday a fresher's party was organized by the inmates of the second year in UST Bannu for the newcomer students, which was made successful with great pomp. The chief guest of the program was Dr. Rafi-ud-in Joshi, Head of the Department of English , Faculty of Social Sciences, and Dr. Manoj Kumar Mishra, Principal Hostel Superintendent, as a special guest.

The program was held from 7 pm onwards in the IMS lawn in which the students of all the three years registered their presence. The program was conducted by Jamshed , a resident of the second year.

The program started with the lighting of the lamp by the guests and wreath laying on the pictures of Zubair and Farooq haider .

After this, the first year students Muhibullah , Raza, jamal nasir, haider, and muneeb sang the national anthem . After this the introduction of the students started which was very strange in itself. Students not only had to mention their name, place of residence and subject in their introduction, they were also given a task in which they had to first inflate a balloon filled with chit and sit on it and burst it and take the chit from it. After taking out something interesting to say on the topic given in it for a minute. The students as well as the guests also found this program very enjoyable. After this a song was presented by first year student Nasir Ahmed which was appreciated by all. Simultaneously, a humorous poem was presented by Ravi Shankar, a student of the first year itself, hearing which everyone was shocked.

After this, Superintendent Dr zubair welcomed the first year students and gave his blessings. After that the chief guest addressed the students and told everyone about the importance of time. He said that if a student works hard in three years of graduation, then his next thirty years are secured and if someone wastes these three years, then the next thirty years he stumbles.

After his address, he recorded his experience in the visitor's book of the hostel and then a picture of muhammad ali jinah founder of pakistan was presented to the chief guest by the hostel superintendent on behalf of the hostel and he was given farewell. After this, all the other students were introduced as well as poetry present by junaid , a third year student, poetry present by first year student umar , presentation of ahmad ali naqwi song by first year student safdar , poetry present by first year student ajab khan and first year The song was presented by farooq, a student of Second year student zubair , who was the topper of the graduation entrance examination 2016 and third year student haider, who is an international level speaker, delivered representative speeches on behalf of both the years. A play was also staged by the first year students which was entertaining only after.

After this the result of the election of Mr. Fresher for the year 2021 was announced. Three students were selected in the final round for Mr. Fresher – zubair , Ali Afzal, and Lakhai Murmu. One last question was asked by third year student muneeb from all three for the election of Mr. Fresher. The question was "If you have been appointed as the Chief of Army Staff of pakistam , what will you address to the nation in your acceptance speech?" Answers were given by all the three students but the jury unanimously considered student Ali Afzal's answer as the most excellent and selected Ali Afzal for the title of Mr. Fresher.
At the end of the program, stage director gave a vote of thanks and thanked every inmate who participated in making the program a success.
