Contest - Steem Future Asset

Steem is the underlying cryptocurrency of the Steemit network, and two other digital currencies (Steem Dollars and Steem Power) depend on the Steem coin. Since this coin was released in 2016, the supply of Steem has automatically increased by 100% every year. This is what will continue to be done without a certain time limit.

In this aspect, Steem crypto differs from other cryptocurrencies, as it does not only depend on mining activity to create new coins. The Steemit network creates new Steem coins every day. 75% of new coins are split between authors and curators. 15% of the coins are awarded to Steem Power holders. Only 10% of the Steem block reward goes to miners.

As more and more coins are created every day, it is not recommended to hold them for long periods of time. Steem coins should be converted to Steem Dollars, Steem Power or other cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Litecoin.

Contest tips

Cryptocurrency prices change every day, be it hourly or daily. In this contest I want to hear user guesses for the steem price at the end of this month or on January 31 2023. In this contest the contestants don't only predict the price of steem, but explain what cryptocurrency and steem are according to your own understanding.
