My Unique Recipes For Breakfast

In this blog, I'll be sharing my breakfast recipe with you all.
I usually take different light meals for breakfast, there are two I specially like. I will show us how I make one of them. It is Oats meal or simply called Oats. Oatmeal is not only delicious but also filling.
MAKING OATS MEAL
To make oats meal, you simply need :
- Rolled oats
- Sugar cubes
- Milk (topping)
I usually use Quaker Oats brand but feel free to use the oats of your choice. You can also use granulated sugar in place of cube sugar.
First, I scooped 5 tablespoons of oats into a clean pot. Added 3 cubes of sugar. Add sugar to your taste. I prefer it to use sugar lightly. Next, I poured about half cup of water over it and stirred. The Sugar has dissolved in it. Leave for 5-7 minutes.
Leaving it to soak up soften the oats before cooking. Hence , it stays a short time on heat.
PS: Oats should not be cooked on heat for long, for it to retain it's nutritional content. Too much heat is not good for it.
Next, I placed the pot containing the oats and sugar on medium heat. As it begins to cook and thickens, I stir. I stirred until I got thick consistency I want. I like it not too thick and not too light.
If it's too thick, you can add in some water to lighten it up while still on heat. It is better lightly thick ,cause oats becomes thick on cooling. This is where most people don't get it right: the consistency. And that is where the tastes and enjoyment lies.
I removed from heat and scooped into a bowl. Stream some milk over it.
And Our Oats is ready!!!

Oatmeal is a yummy meal when properly made. It is quite simple to make and it supplies the body with lots of nutrients.

Contains soluble fibre that helps to improve the blood sugar.
Promotes heart health and lowers the blood cholesterol.
Improves the digestive tract, helps good bowel movement and relieves constipation.
Oatmeal contains carbs and helps in maintaining healthy weight.
