Culinary in 10 Pict

Hello Friends,

Hope you guys are having a great time.... Today I'm back with 10 mouthwatering culinary pictures to participate in "Culinary in 10 Pict" Contest hosted by STEEM FOR BETTERLIFE community and thank you @irawandedy for initiating this contest.

Today I'm going to post some food that everyone of you loves. And specially all these are made by one of my friends who is a professional pastry chef.

1. Cheese Cake

Cheese cake is a delicious dessert originated in Ancient Greece. This is made out of fresh cheese, milk, eggs and sugar. The base of this cake is made with crushed cookies. The texture of cheesecake comes both firm and dense or soft and creamy.

2. Puff Pastry

Puff pastry is a flaky and crunchy short eat that comes both in sweet and savory flavours. The pastry is made by folding the pastry dough several times with a butter bar. Folding the dough like this creates several layers in the pastry and makes it flaky. This is considered to be originated in France.

3. Donut

Donut is a sweet snack made with leavened fried dough. It comes in different flavours and according to our preference we can decide the type of cream and garnish for it. I love chocolate donuts and I have posted here some of them which my friend made for me.

4. Chelsea Bun

The bun is made with a combination of lemon peel, cinnamon or mixed spice and a rich yeast dough. Plus the dough is formed in to a square sided log while rolling it out with a mixture that contains currants, brown sugar and butter. Finally this bun is glazed with a sugar syrup.

5. Puff Pastry Cake

This is famous delicious Russian cake that is made using the puff pastry dough. This moist creamy cake is made with several layers of pastry topped with a soft delighting cream.

6. Zeppole

This is an Italian pastry made out of deep fried dough. This pastry is filled with custard and usually topped with icing. The Zeppole shown in the picture has been topped with icing and added peaches and a cherry to decorate and add flavour.

7. Meat Pie

This is a savory pie made with a spicy meat filling. The pie is well baked with a crunchy and flaky texture while the filling appeared with a tasty beef scramble and cheese.

8. Lemon Meringue Pie

Lemon Meringue Pie is famous around the world as an enticing dessert. The pie consists of a shortened pastry base that is filled with lemon curd and topped with meringue.

9. Panna cotta

This is an Italian dessert prepared with sweetened cream and gelatin. The cream is most often aromatized with vanilla, coffee or other flavorings.

10. Apple Crumble Tart

Apple Crumble Tart is a perfect combination of cinnamon baked apples, shortcrust shell and delicious topping of buttery crumbles. This is a tart is easy to make and I'm sure everyone of you would like it.
