#club5050 | BETTERLIFE | TAKING CARE OF CAT WHEN SHE IS PREGNANT

in STEEM FOR BETTERLIFE3 years ago (edited)

To all fellow Steemians, hello and Assalam u Alaikum. I'm doing well and loving my life, and I hope you're doing fine and enjoying yours as well.

Welcome to my most recent post in this lovely community, and I am grateful that you have taken the time to read it. So without further ado, let's get this party started.

So, I'm about to start writing an article about how to care for a PREGNANT CAT.

First and foremost, if you do not want your cat to reproduce. Make an appointment to get her spayed. Take her to a reputable veterinarian to get spayed.

1) Regular Checkup

The first thing you should do if you suspect your cat is pregnant is to take her to the vet.
If your vet declares her pregnant, take her back to the vet on the 55th day of her pregnancy for an x-ray. This will give you a good idea of how many lovely kittens are on their way to bless you.
Vaccinations are generally not advised during pregnancy because they may harm the fetus.

2) Emotional support and hygienic food

Your pregnant cat should be fed high-quality food on a regular basis. Make sure she doesn't go hungry or that you don't overfeed her. In terms of what I feed my pregnant cat, there are three options.

Boiled chicken, milk cream, kitty cat food
This combination works best for my cat, and her kittens have remained healthy and active up to this point.

DOs:

1)Feed your cat nutritious food.
2)Keep her hydrated.
3)Feed her at regular intervals.

DONTs:

Overfeeding your cat may cause her to become overweight, which may cause problems during her labor and pregnancy.
Do not starve her.

3) Comfortable Space

During the final stages of pregnancy, your cat will look around the house for a safe place to give birth. Find her a quiet, safe, and remote location where she can give birth. Provide her with warm clothing and a blanket. Cats adore their privacy. It's even possible that she won't like the place you've offered her, so give her some time to find something she'll like. Make her as comfortable as possible.

4) Birth Time

You leave her alone once she has decided on a safe area to give birth. HUMAN INTERVENTION DOESN'T GO WELL WITH CATS. If she appears to be in discomfort, you may need to intervene; keep checking at regular intervals but don't be overly nosy.
If she's having contractions but not giving birth, get help from your veterinarian. Also, if the infant is stuck in the canal and can't get out, call your veterinarian right once.

DO NOT SEPARATE THE MOTHER AND HER KITTENS FOR 3-4 DAYS AFTER ALL THE BABIES HAVE BEEN BORN SAFELY. This is a crucial section. Because your cat just gave birth and is breastfeeding, give her plenty of food and water with a proper nutritional balance.
