There are many sites out there that provide deals on flights.
Sites like Kayak offers search results from hundreds of airlines and third party sites. To the question, "How Do I Find The Best Deals On Kayak," on their Frequently Asked Question page, they say,

Be flexible with your destination, dates and times. Use budget airlines, don't fly direct, sign-up for airline newsletters and look out for special deals such as last-minute deals, use multiple search engines and use points and miles.
